Mayfield is the author of "The Myth of the American Dream" (IVP, 2020). Liz and Danielle reflect on their own experiences of Portland's virtues and vices, and how protest might just be the mode of worship we all need right now. The sacred music collective, Common Hymnal, provides our soundtrack for the episode.

Customer Reviews
Always delivers deep food for conversation
RTN Theology is up there with Middle East Focus and Pass the Mic in my podcast priorities. Every week has diverse and thoughtful content that is kept steady by two outstanding hosts. This podcast has also helped to keep me sane during quarantine tbh.
Always Thought-Provoking
Even for a nonbeliever or journeyer, trust me. Interesting discussions, historical lessons, and some very good music. Hosts have a very calming, welcoming style. RTN Theology has become one I look forward to each week.
Great stuff!
