    Mac "the Big Mac" Marcoux

    (Doctor) Keely Shaw!!!

    Episode #2: (Doctor) Keely Shaw! This week’s episode features Doctor-Professor-Paralympian Keely Shaw. Keely is a 2 x Paralympian (Tokyo 2020, Paris 2024) and 2 x Bronze Medalist in the Women’s C4 Individual Pursuit in Para Track Cycling. She has a Doctorate in Kinesiology from University of Saskatchewan and is currently a Postdoctoral Associate at the University of Calgary.  Keely details her journey to Para cycling and the importance of her support network for her success in the sport. She highlights her current research into sport nutrition and exercise metabolism in understudied populations (Female, Para, and Masters) athletes and the importance of educating the next generation of sport practitioners about Para sport.  This thought provoking episode will make you hungry for chocolate..
