I am consistently blown away by the insights people share in the “What Class Are You?” series. We don’t always get the opportunity to hear folks give their most honest feelings about their lives and experiences. People astonish me. Kay, for instance, is so self aware and so good at expression. I found myself thinking ‘how is this person not the school principal instead of a custodian?’ What a difference it might make to the kids if they had someone like Kay influencing their education. And Jules- I identified so much with their confusion about how to live. Listening to these stories makes you realize that the system truly is stacked against us. Keep ‘em poor, keep ‘em uneducated, keep ‘em sick - that way that can’t dissent. This series is so valuable. Thank you.
