i like tater tots, especially paired with other finger foods like wings. (i’m also a bleu cheese freak but we don’t have to get into that.) however, the sheer variety of fry shapes and techniques far outstrips the capability of the tot. crinkle cut, waffle cut, wedge cut, steak fries, shoestring, everything. there’s a fry for every taste and presence.

I feel like judging tots on their own merits might be a bit harsh. You have to just have a lot of ketchup, of course. Also they bring back all that nostalgia of elementary school lunches

I listen for the conversation since I don’t really play video games. I like hearing about them, though. Fries are definitely superior to tater tots, but tater tots do have a school-age nostalgia on occasion. Also, I know someone that quotes the Hoodwinked (2005) joke about Keith changing his name.
