EXPERIENCE MORE OF THE THE CHRIST IN YOU!

    Ep# 134 - Love School - Part 3

    Ep# 134 - Love School - Part 3

In part 3 of, “Love School,” we examine the doctrine of inclusion, the timelessness of God, and the programmed judgment we all have. These, combined with 1 John 3 in the Mirror translation, help us understand what Jesus accomplished on the cross and how it leads to a life of unconditional love.

What Jesus did was the undoing of a judgmental, right and wrong, self-righteous system. He is the verdict that puts all of humanity on the same level. All there is to do is hear the Gospel, believe it, and awaken to it.

This episode is packed full of meat and revelation! A few highlights include:

How our sin-based identity of performance, judgment, and the world system has been programmed into us from a young age
The eternal perspective of God – the reconciliation of God & man has been complete since before the world was formed
What the inclusion of humanity on the cross means, for believers and unbelievers
This is the original Gospel. One died for all. Every single person is worthy of the blood of Jesus. It’s a subtle form of self-righteousness when we judge others as less worthy or in more need of redemption than we are.

But, when we understand the timelessness of God, the totality of the finished works of the cross, and that sin is just a result of a distorted self-image, a separated and unrenewed mind, we begin to understand how to receive His unconditional love.

And love is infectious – if you want to draw people to Jesus, it is through love, not judgment.

    Ep# 133 - Love School - Part 2

    Ep# 133 - Love School - Part 2

In part 2 of, “Love School,” we examine the parable of the prodigal son to really get a picture of what keeps us from receiving the Father’s unconditional love.

Both sons, like most of us, were living under the illusion of separation from their father. Both were operating out of self-righteousness, independence, and judgment. The prodigal judged himself as unworthy of returning to his father’s house because of his sin. The elder brother judged himself as righteous and deserving of his inheritance, while judging his younger brother and being offended at the celebration thrown for him by their father.

Through this parable we see that it is performance-based self-righteousness, independence, and judgment, of ourselves or others as worthy or unworthy, that hinder our experience of the Father’s unconditional love.

And this is what Jesus came to abolish. We belong to God’s family because of Jesus, not because we are good, deserving, or worthy. Jesus is the reason we have access to sonship. We can’t earn the love of God, and we can’t squander it away. Rejection is simply not a godly principle.

The proclamation of the Gospel is that God’s love is free, and it has been decided (without our participation or permission). It is a license to be loved. It is an invitation to the party, an invitation to be a son.

So, let’s drop the judgment, put on the royal robes, and enjoy the party as we celebrate what God has done for us!

    Ep# 132 - Love School - Part 1

    Ep# 132 - Love School - Part 1

God’s love, His core nature, gets muddled up by religion, sin-consciousness, and our focus on what is wrong instead of what is right. Religion is based in judgment, in the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. But love isn’t judgment-based, it’s judgment-free. Love is the ruling force of the universe. It’s unconditional, and it can’t be earned.

In this first episode of, “Love School,” we see how love is the core of our being, and until we drop the lens of separation and really get that we are one with Love Itself, we’ll view Scripture as a list of to-dos, we’ll think love is something we have to do rather than who we are in Christ and what we get to receive and experience.

Other revelations in this episode include:

    * God’s love is not predicated on anything we have done or will do. It is predicated on His choice
    * Our union with Jesus means we are fully accepted, without condition, and grafted into Christ
    * Self-righteousness is an illusion & an impossibility
    * Guilt and shame come from judging ourselves and others as conditionally loveable, instead of unconditionally loved
    * Fear of judgment is what drives us when we aren’t persuaded that we are loved unconditionally
    * Love flows from being loved
    * We have been restored to innocence

We have to come to terms with the fact that we are unconditionally loved - always have been, always will be. When you understand that everyone, including you, has been reconciled to and is one with God, it will change the way you see everything.

It’s time to forget who you think you are, let go of old mindsets, and let Holy Spirit show you your resurrected self through revelations and encounters!

    Ep# 131 - Union Police - Part 4

The foundation of my ministry is our union with God, which is how I got the nickname, ‘the union police.’ So, in this series, “Union Police,” we really dig into the reality of our union with Jesus and what it actually means. When you read Scripture and see the world through the lens of our oneness with God, everything changes!

    Ep# 130 - Union Police - Part 3

    Ep# 130 - Union Police - Part 3

In part 3 of, “Union Police,” we talk about how our self- and sin-consciousness frame our perception and experience of reality, and how the Gospel is the death of self-consciousness because it is the end of sin (therefore the end of sin-consciousness).

Yet, many of us haven’t heard the Gospel as good news, because we read Scriptures from a lens of guilt rather than innocence, from performance rather than total reconciliation. We think we don’t deserve the promises of the Bible because we see ourselves as sinners and are ignorant of our redeemed identity and innocence.

    In this episode:

    * Jesus came to crucify the self that is separate from God
    * The work of re-creation was completed in Christ
    * Sin is an identity problem - it’s anything we do that is separate from God
    * It’s not about behavior, it’s about Jesus
    * Judging, ourselves and others, completely nullifies what Jesus has done
    * We are free to be sin-free because we are one with Him in His glory

When we get the revelation that Jesus extracted sin from the world and that we are reconciled in Him and one with Him, the way we view everything in reality shifts.

It’s time to forget who you think you are, let go of old mindsets, and let Holy Spirit show you your resurrected self through revelations and encounters!

    Ep# 129 - Union Police - Part 2

    Ep# 129 - Union Police - Part 2

Many Christians think of eternal life as something we get after we die, but in part 2 of, “Union Police,” we examine how Jesus defines eternal life and the right-now-reality of it.

In John 17:3, Jesus says, “Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.”

Eternal life is knowing God and knowing Jesus. Eternal life is oneness with God. It happens as we abide in Him, and it is a moment by moment reality. This moment is all that matters, and in this moment, whether you know it, feel it, believe it, or not, you are one with God.

    In this week’s episode:

    * What ‘knowing’ God means
    * The ultimate message of the Gospel: the universal act that Jesus did for all of mankind, redeeming us to the image of God and our union with Him
    * From God’s perspective, everything is now
    * How to abide in your union, moment by moment, so you can enjoy eternal life right now

It’s time to forget who you think you are, let go of old mindsets, and let Holy Spirit show you your resurrected self through revelations and encounters!

REFRESHING!

I first listened to Schlyce through an interview that John Crowder did with her on gratefulness. I had found myself in a constant state of pessimism and feeling out of control in regards to my emotions. I felt so refreshed and challenged by her words in the interview and I started listening to her podcast. Many of her words line up well with what Dr. Caroline Leaf teaches regarding the power of the brain over the body (and neuroplasticity), however, Schlyce brings in a beautiful, scriptural perspective and challenges listeners to take authority over their circumstances with the power of Christ. In a world where feelings rule over everything, it is refreshing and comforting to be reminded of our dominion over our circumstances through Christ!
