In good times and in bad times, I am sure you know this saying, this is the promise we make in marriage, does this apply to your Business partnership too? The answer is yes. Statistics show there are more split ups in Business partnerships than in marriages. These partnerships require special attention and loads of communication and clarity along the way in episode 1 you and I looked at the #1 killer being poor communication. In this final episode let’s look at the final piece that is often ignored or out of date. I have combined number 4 and 5 as they are relevant to each other, the lack of well-defined roles either outdated or non-existent which then flows into the perception of input and output of each partner.
Identify what each partner is good at and how this will fit into the business. Keep the role description up to date make it part of your communication to self and others Well defined role description will avoid the imbalance creeping in, you agree and commit and avoid those pesky perceptions
