Scott Cummings - Bordering on overqualified

There wouldn’t be many more qualified candidates for the final SACKED AFL episode of season six than Scott Cummings. The laconic goal kicker cycled through four clubs in three states across a nine year career that promised a great deal but ended due to injury at the age of just 28. And yet Cummings could really play. He was the leading goal kicker at three of his four clubs and kicked 95 goals to win the Coleman Medal at West Coast in 1999. I tried to hate this podcast but five minutes into the first Mick Malthouse episode I knew I would love it. Danny Frawley sealed the deal, this show is too good not to review. I assumed this would be rehashed nonsense I heard before, I was wrong. Hearing the details from the other side gives me a new perspective. This podcast redefines the term “amicable.” Great insights and hope to hear more. I hope some day to hear Ross Lyon’s take on his sacking.
