This experience brought me face-to-face with the sacred, often unseen weight we carry when we love and care deeply for animals. It wasn't just about tending to Frappe’s body—it was about witnessing her struggle, holding space for life and death in the same breath, and acknowledging the emotional bond that makes this kind of loss feel so profound. I reflect on the beauty and heartbreak of this experience, how it touched my own body and spirit, and the healing that came from being supported and seen in the depths of that moment.
