Great podcasts on following Jesus and the micro church movement

I could easily see how this ministry would reach gen z and under. they are well marketed and look very different than what most people would associate as a traditional church. I really enjoy hearing Parker and Jessie speak, especially when they are on a podcast together. They are super funny and have a fresh perspective on many issues. That being said, I sometimes sense that they are reaching to be so unique that sometimes sound biblical doctrine is lost and they will say something completely off the wall. I do love that they are zealous to see signs and wonders, but I get the sense that they are operating largely under the flesh to reach those means. My mom always used to say “some are called, some are sent, some just got up and went.” I think they are giving the latter. I do not believe these people have truly learned what it means to “wait on the lord.” Because of that, many of their teachings are super condemning rather than convicting which is what I think they are going for but truly are missing the mark in that department. I would just recommend that if you listen to this podcast you know very well the difference between condemnation and true conviction of the Holy Spirit. One brings shame and the other brings life transformative repentance.

Jessi and Parker teach a no-nonsense Christianity, with practical steps to truly following a Jesus that is alive. They challenge Christians to step out of their comfort zone to live a fully transformed alive life! I've been listening to their messages for a couple years and am constantly floored with revelations that stop my life in its tracks and turn things around completely for me. Highly recommend !!
