Horrible narration

I’m a little obsessed with Mt. Everest, so I tried that episode first, and WOW I have no idea how this podcast is a thing. The narration is slow and boring and I was incredibly bored while listening to an episode about a topic that normally fascinates me to no end. The background music is super weird too.

Not for quick thinkers

This podcast (specifically the Mayan civilization episode) was so dull and slow I can’t imagine whose idea it was to produce a podcast this way. It’s horrendous and slightly condescending in some weird way. So, if you want to be pushed to your breaking point give it a listen. This guy talks to you like you just woke up from a long term coma and have a traumatic brain injury. For people who enjoy learning about stuff like this I’d suggest you look anywhere else. I would honestly rather read a Wikipedia page then listen to this absurdity.
