Great story

I loved and hated every character. Hilarious and upsetting at the same time. A complicated and entertaining story. Big fan! Can’t wait for more from this writer/director duo!

Have you ever wanted to hug a zealot?

I finished Sarah Someone and thoroughly enjoyed it! I somehow wanted to both slap Sarah in the face and hold her tightly until she finished sobbing into my shoulder. I love learning about a protagonist who can create such extreme reactions at the same time. It shows her depth of character. It’s not often that you feel bad for a zealot with such narrow minded views, but I definitely wanted to hug her - I could feel her sadness.

As an additional bonus, I had some bittersweet nostalgia while listening to this podcast. I grew up attending Catholic elementary school and high school. I could picture these conversations happening - an unmarried pregnant teacher was a debated issue at our school once! It was fun to sink back into the past a bit.

I am hoping there may be a “season two” at some point...
