In 1976, Wayne started an office furniture company in Saskatoon and stayed there for about six years. After his business launched, Business Furnishings opened in Saskatoon. It was operated by the general manager of his high school hockey team, who essentially lured Wayne over to Business Furnishings after six years at his other company. In the end, Wayne ended up becoming President. He was just in the right place at the right time and his position morphed into the presidential role at Business Furnishings without any real plan. Today, he has a solid base to guide the next succession plan among his younger, dedicated workers. In 2006, however, he was recruited to join Information Services Corporation as its Chief Operating Officer. In 2008, Jeff was named the permanent President and CEO. Under his leadership, ISC evolved and grew and Jeff focused the organization away from being a monopoly. He recently stepped down as the CEO of ISC and joins us on day one in his new chapter. From there, they decided to team up together and open The Rusty Shovel Landscape shop in 2010. Sean had some ownership to start, then bought majority shares going into the 2015 season. It's been family-owned and operated the whole way through. After taking ownership, Sean grew the company's revenue by 55% in the first year.
