    EP60, Ep 1 2026, Happy New Year, we're back and we're rough, recovering from the flu I'm joined in the studio by Sam and Aaron from Melbourne's newest hard hitting high voltage riffage raw rock n roll contenders Speed Bumps. Sam has been working hard to bring a great 8 band fundraiser fest line up to the Bendigo this Saturday night. The event is called Tough as Nails and the fundraiser benefits BPU (Black Peoples Union). We chat about this as well as the new music the boys will be releasing soon on their upcoming debut EP Warrnambool Wasted, due out Feb 1st. There will be a little tour to promote the ep shortly thereafter. We also chat more about Warrnambool and local legend Slim Krusty, sneaking in recording sessions, the official Speed Bumps road sign, Private Function and $10 pints of Skull Draught.     Satan on Weekends Episode 58, in the studio with Riley and Noa from The Refuge, Noa's girlfriend Jamilla also came along for the ride to help with quality control. We discuss the bands Otway's roots, the cold rainy landscapes influence on the sound and the beauty and the warmth of the music created. The guys a pumping out a few singles right now with an album taking shape for a 2026 release. The latest single Call My Own is an absolute banger and is out next Tuesday the 9th of December. There will also be an album release party for the single at the Bendi on Friday the 19th. We chat about many other miscellaneous items like how their drummer Leon couldn't make it but its cool because he a gun drummer and also a tik tok celebrity, the bass player Cam couldn't make it because he is a professional scooter dude and happened to be at a comp in Japan over the weekend, madness, as well as chatting about Houses of the Holy, Stretch Vampire Rock, Cave Rock, completing incomplete songs with the help from the theremin, Ayahuasca Mark, Deep Purple, Acdc, Castle Rat, Arabella and the Heist, the Miffs in Barcelona, playing shows in Portland and Tinder, Grunge, Grunge on Tinder Call My Own out next Tuesday December 9th The Refuge rock The Bendigo Hotel Friday the 19th of December, for the single release, supports from Arabella and the Heist as well as Dog Watch (who are also releasing the single The Switch)
