    Srimad Bhaagwat - Skandh 3 (Part 6)

Srimad Bhaagwat - Skandh 3 (Part 6) In this episode of Srimad Bhaagwat Mahapuran, we explore the beautiful story of the marriage of Devahuti and Kardama Muni, a significant episode that combines the ideals of dharma, devotion, duty, marriage, and renunciation. Kardama Rishi, a great sage devoted to Bhagwan Vishnu, had spent many years performing intense austerities and spiritual practices. Bhagwan Vishnu eventually appeared before him and assured him that his spiritual journey would continue through a righteous household life before he returned to complete renunciation. Following the guidance of Sage Narada, King Svayambhuva Manu brings his daughter Devahuti to Kardama Muni's hermitage. Devahuti had already developed deep respect and admiration for Kardama after hearing about his extraordinary character, spiritual discipline, and devotion. Kardama Muni recognizes Devahuti's noble qualities, beauty, character, and royal lineage. However, before accepting the marriage, he makes his intention clear: he will enter household life and fulfill his responsibilities, but after Devahuti bears their children, he will renounce worldly life and return completely to his spiritual practices and devotion to Bhagwan Vishnu. Devahuti accepts these conditions with humility and faith, choosing a life of dharma and devotion rather than worldly comfort and royal luxury. Their marriage therefore becomes more than a union between a king's daughter and a great sage—it becomes an important part of a larger divine plan that will eventually lead to the appearance of Kapila Muni, who will impart profound spiritual knowledge to Devahuti. This episode reminds us that grihastha dharma and spiritual life need not be opposing paths. When family responsibilities are performed with righteousness, sacrifice, and devotion, they can themselves become part of one's spiritual journey. Presented in easy-to-understand Hindi, this episode introduces the listeners to the lives of Devahuti and Kardama Muni and prepares the foundation for the deeper teachings that follow in the Srimad Bhaagwat. #SrimadBhaagwat #BhaagwatMahapuran #Skandh3 #Devahuti #KardamaMuni #SvayambhuvaManu #Narada #KapilaMuni #Vishnu #Bhakti #Dharma #GrihasthaDharma #Vairagya #SanatanDharma #Spirituality #HindiPodcast #SpiritualPodcast #SatsangManthan #Sadhana

    Srimad Bhaagwat - Skandh 3 (Part 5)

Srimad Bhaagwat - Skandh 3 (Part 5) In this episode of Srimad Bhaagwat Mahapuran, we explore the divine appearance and glorious deeds of Bhagwan Vishnu as Varaha Avatar, one of the most powerful incarnations described in the Bhaagwat. When the mighty demon Hiranyaksha, empowered by a boon and overcome by pride and arrogance, creates chaos in the universe and pushes Mother Earth (Bhudevi) into the depths of the cosmic ocean, the balance of creation is threatened. The Devas and other divine beings turn toward Bhagwan Vishnu for protection. Responding to the prayers of His devotees, Bhagwan Vishnu manifests as Varaha, the magnificent divine boar. His form is described as extraordinary and immensely powerful, symbolizing the Lord's ability to take any form necessary to protect creation and restore Dharma. Varaha Avatar dives deep into the cosmic ocean in search of Mother Earth. After locating Bhudevi, He lifts her upon His mighty tusks and begins the task of restoring her to her rightful place. However, Hiranyaksha confronts Varaha and challenges Him to battle. A fierce and extraordinary battle follows between Varaha Bhagwan and Hiranyaksha. Despite the demon's immense strength and arrogance, he is ultimately defeated by the Lord. With the destruction of Hiranyaksha, the threat to creation comes to an end, and Bhagwan Varaha safely restores Mother Earth. The story is more than an account of a divine battle. It reminds us that whenever adharma, arrogance, and destructive forces threaten righteousness, Bhagwan manifests in whatever form is necessary to protect His creation and His devotees. The lifting of Mother Earth by Varaha also symbolizes the Lord's eternal role as the protector and sustainer of the universe. Presented in easy-to-understand Hindi, this episode brings the story of Varaha Avatar and Hiranyaksha closer to modern listeners while exploring its deeper spiritual meaning. It reminds us that no matter how powerful ignorance or arrogance may appear, Dharma ultimately prevails through the grace of the Divine. #SrimadBhaagwat #BhaagwatMahapuran #Skandh3 #VarahaAvatar #VarahaBhagwan #Hiranyaksha #Bhudevi #Vishnu #VishnuAvatar #Dharma #Bhakti #SanatanDharma #KrishnaBhakti #Spirituality #HindiPodcast #SpiritualPodcast #SatsangManthan #Sadhana #BhagwanVishnu #HinduMythology

    Srimad Bhaagwat - Skandh 3 (Part 4)

Srimad Bhaagwat - Skandh 3 (Part 4) In this episode of Srimad Bhaagwat Mahapuran, we continue the spiritual journey of Mahatma Vidura, who seeks answers to some of the deepest questions about life, suffering, the nature of the soul, and the path to liberation. After meeting Uddhava, Vidura travels to Haridwar, where he meets the great sage Maitreya Rishi. Troubled by the suffering experienced by living beings and the endless cycle of material attachment, Vidura seeks to understand how the soul becomes trapped in Maya and, more importantly, how it can become free from this illusion and attain eternal peace. Maitreya Rishi begins explaining the profound process of creation and the nature of the material universe. He describes how Bhagwan Vishnu, through His divine will, activates material nature and empowers Lord Brahma to undertake the task of creating and organizing the universe. The discussion gradually unfolds into an exploration of the different stages of creation, the divisions of time, karma, the nature of living beings, and the various divine manifestations of Bhagwan. The episode also introduces some of the important divine incarnations described in the Bhaagwat, including Varaha Avatar, through whom Bhagwan rescued the Earth, and Kapila Muni, whose teachings provide deep insight into spiritual knowledge and the nature of existence. While describing the vastness and complexity of creation, Maitreya ultimately brings Vidura back to the central spiritual truth: material existence, despite its temporary pleasures, cannot provide lasting happiness. Wealth, power, possessions, relationships, and worldly achievements are all subject to change and ultimately lead to disappointment when we become attached to them. True freedom comes when the soul turns toward the Supreme Lord through unalloyed Bhakti, surrender, remembrance, and devotional service. By developing devotion and understanding our eternal relationship with Bhagwan, we gradually rise above Maya, transcend material attachment, and move toward lasting peace and spiritual realization. Presented in easy-to-understand Hindi, this episode simplifies some of the profound philosophical and cosmological teachings of the Srimad Bhaagwat. It helps listeners understand not only how the universe is described in the scripture, but also why understanding creation should ultimately lead us toward understanding the Creator. #SrimadBhaagwat #BhaagwatMahapuran #Skandh3 #Vidura #MaitreyaRishi #Haridwar #Vishnu #Brahma #VarahaAvatar #KapilaMuni #Maya #Bhakti #Karma #SanatanDharma #Spirituality #KrishnaBhakti #HindiPodcast #SpiritualPodcast #SatsangManthan #Sadhana #Moksha

    Srimad Bhaagwat - Skandh 3 (Part 3)

Srimad Bhaagwat - Skandh 3 (Part 3) In this episode of Srimad Bhaagwat Mahapuran, we witness a deeply emotional meeting between Mahatma Vidura and Uddhava, filled with devotion, remembrance, and the pain of separation from Bhagwan Shri Krishna. After completing his pilgrimage, Vidura meets Uddhava near the banks of the Yamuna. Eager to hear about the people he loves, Vidura asks Uddhava about the well-being of Bhagwan Shri Krishna, the Pandavas, and the Yadu dynasty. However, he soon realizes that Uddhava is overwhelmed by profound grief and divine remembrance. With tears in his eyes, Uddhava reveals the heartbreaking truth—that Bhagwan Shri Krishna has completed His earthly pastimes and returned to His eternal abode. The Yadu dynasty has also come to the end of its earthly existence. Overwhelmed by separation, Uddhava remembers the countless divine moments he shared with Krishna and begins narrating His extraordinary pastimes. Uddhava recalls Krishna's beautiful childhood pastimes in Vrindavan, His loving relationships with His devotees, His protection of the residents of Vraja, and His remarkable deeds throughout His earthly life. For Uddhava, these memories are not merely stories from the past—they are a living source of devotion and spiritual nourishment. Through Uddhava's narration, we experience an important truth of Bhakti: separation from Bhagwan can itself become an intense form of remembrance and devotion. When the physical presence of the Lord is no longer visible, the devotee's heart becomes filled with His names, qualities, and divine pastimes. Before departing for Badrikashrama, Uddhava directs Vidura toward Rishi Maitreya, who can provide him with deeper knowledge about creation, the nature of the soul, the Supreme Lord, and the path to spiritual realization. This guidance is not merely personal advice—Uddhava explains that Krishna Himself had instructed him to share this wisdom with Vidura. Presented in easy-to-understand Hindi, this episode beautifully brings together the emotions of viraha (separation), bhakti, remembrance, and spiritual wisdom. It marks an important transition in the Srimad Bhaagwat, leading Vidura toward his profound spiritual dialogue with Maitreya Rishi. #SrimadBhaagwat #BhaagwatMahapuran #Skandh3 #Vidura #Uddhava #Krishna #KrishnaBhakti #Vrindavan #Yamuna #MaitreyaRishi #Bhakti #Viraha #SanatanDharma #Spirituality #HindiPodcast #SpiritualPodcast #SatsangManthan #Sadhana #BhaktiYoga

    Srimad Bhaagwat - Skandh 3 (Part 2)

Srimad Bhaagwat - Skandh 3 (Part 2) In this episode of Srimad Bhaagwat Mahapuran, we explore the profound wisdom of Vidura Neeti, one of the most insightful discussions on dharma, leadership, ethics, and righteous living found in the Mahabharata. As the devastating Kurukshetra War approaches, King Dhritarashtra finds himself unable to sleep, troubled by anxiety and the consequences of the decisions being taken by his family. His inner turmoil is deeply connected to his attachment to his son Duryodhana, whose ambition, greed, and hostility toward the Pandavas have pushed the kingdom toward destruction. Seeking guidance, Dhritarashtra turns to Mahatma Vidura, whose wisdom is rooted in truth and dharma. Vidura does not flatter the king or tell him what he wants to hear. Instead, he fearlessly explains the consequences of blind attachment, greed, injustice, favoritism, and uncontrolled desires. Vidura teaches that true strength does not come from wealth, armies, political influence, or royal power. The real strength of a ruler lies in justice, integrity, self-control, compassion, and the ability to distinguish right from wrong. A leader who sacrifices dharma for personal attachment may temporarily protect those close to him, but ultimately brings destruction upon himself and his entire kingdom. Vidura repeatedly urges Dhritarashtra to control Duryodhana and return the Pandavas their rightful share of the kingdom. He warns that ignoring injustice for the sake of family attachment will inevitably lead to conflict and suffering. His words reveal an important truth: when personal relationships come into conflict with dharma, righteousness must prevail. Although Dhritarashtra listens to Vidura's profound counsel, his attachment prevents him from acting upon it. This inability to choose dharma over affection becomes one of the important causes leading to the great tragedy of Kurukshetra. Presented in easy-to-understand Hindi, this episode brings the timeless teachings of Vidura Neeti closer to modern listeners. Its lessons are relevant not only to kings and leaders, but to every individual—teaching us how to control desires, make ethical decisions, deal with power responsibly, and choose truth over personal attachment. #SrimadBhaagwat #BhaagwatMahapuran #Skandh3 #ViduraNeeti #Vidura #Dhritarashtra #Duryodhana #Mahabharata #Dharma #Leadership #Ethics #SelfControl #SanatanDharma #Spirituality #Krishna #HindiPodcast #SpiritualPodcast #SatsangManthan #Sadhana #Bhakti

    Srimad Bhaagwat - Skandh 3 (Part 1)

Srimad Bhaagwat - Skandh 3 (Part 1) In this episode of Srimad Bhaagwat Mahapuran, we explore one of the most heart-touching examples of pure devotion (Bhakti)—the beautiful meeting between Bhagwan Shri Krishna and Vidura. When Bhagwan Krishna arrives in Hastinapur as a peace messenger, Duryodhana prepares a grand royal feast to welcome Him. Yet Krishna chooses not to accept the lavish hospitality offered with pride and political intention. Instead, He lovingly visits the humble home of Vidura, whose heart is filled with genuine devotion and love for the Lord. Vidura and his wife, overwhelmed with joy upon seeing Krishna at their doorstep, are unable to contain their emotions. In the intensity of their devotion, they lose all awareness of the surroundings. While offering bananas to Krishna, Sulabha becomes so absorbed in divine love that she unknowingly offers the banana peels instead of the fruit. Krishna, however, accepts them with immense delight, seeing not the material value of the offering but the love and devotion behind it. This beautiful episode conveys one of the most important teachings of Bhakti: Bhagwan does not measure an offering by its cost or grandeur, but by the purity of the heart with which it is offered. A simple offering made with sincere love can be more precious to Bhagwan than the greatest riches offered with pride or selfish motives. The episode also reminds us that true devotion is free from ego, calculation, and expectation. Vidura's humble home becomes more sacred than a royal palace because it is filled with genuine love for Bhagwan. Presented in easy-to-understand Hindi, this episode helps listeners understand the essence of Nishkama Bhakti—devotion without expectation. It inspires us to approach Bhagwan with humility and sincerity, reminding us that even the simplest act, when performed with pure love, can become an offering to the Divine. #SrimadBhaagwat #BhaagwatMahapuran #Skandh3 #Krishna #Vidura #Bhakti #NishkamaBhakti #Sulabha #Dharma #SanatanDharma #KrishnaBhakti #Spirituality #Devotion #HindiPodcast #SpiritualPodcast #SatsangManthan #Sadhana #BhaktiYoga

    Srimad Bhaagwat - Skandh 2 (Part 4)

Srimad Bhaagwat - Skandh 2 (Part 4) In this episode of Srimad Bhaagwat Mahapuran, we explore a fascinating spiritual lesson on the mysterious power of Bhagwan's Maya (Divine Illusion). Through a beautiful story associated with Bhagwan Shri Krishna and His dear friend Sudama, we gain a deeper understanding of how easily the soul becomes absorbed in the temporary world and forgets its eternal relationship with the Divine. Desiring to understand the true nature of Maya, Sudama requests Bhagwan Shri Krishna to reveal it to him. With a gentle smile, Krishna leads him to the sacred Gomti River for a ritual bath. As Sudama enters the water, an extraordinary sequence of events unfolds. Swept away by a sudden flood, he finds himself in an unfamiliar kingdom, where destiny unexpectedly crowns him king. He marries, builds a family, rules a prosperous kingdom, experiences joy and sorrow, and lives what appears to be an entire lifetime. Years pass, attachments deepen, responsibilities grow, and the memories of Krishna gradually fade away. When tragedy strikes and Sudama is about to lose everything, he instinctively cries out to Bhagwan Shri Krishna. In that very moment, the illusion disappears. Sudama emerges from the waters of the Gomti River to find Krishna standing exactly where He had been moments earlier. What felt like decades of life had passed in only an instant. Through this remarkable story, the Bhaagwat teaches that the material world, though it appears completely real, is temporary and ever-changing. Wealth, power, relationships, success, and even the passage of time are all influenced by Maya, which causes the soul to forget its true spiritual identity. Only the remembrance of Bhagwan enables one to awaken from this illusion and realize the eternal truth. Presented in easy-to-understand Hindi, this episode beautifully explains one of the deepest philosophical teachings of Sanatan Dharma. It reminds us that while we must perform our worldly responsibilities with sincerity, our heart should remain anchored in the remembrance of Bhagwan, for His divine grace alone helps us transcend Maya and attain lasting peace. #SrimadBhaagwat #BhaagwatMahapuran #Skandh2 #Krishna #Sudama #Maya #Bhakti #HariNaam #Narayana #SanatanDharma #Spirituality #SelfRealization #Vairagya #HindiPodcast #SpiritualPodcast #SatsangManthan #Sadhana #KrishnaBhakti #DivineWisdom

    Srimad Bhaagwat - Skandh 2 (Part 3)

Srimad Bhaagwat - Skandh 2 (Part 3) In this episode of Srimad Bhaagwat Mahapuran, Shukadev Ji Maharaj continues to guide King Parikshit on one of life's most profound truths—the importance of living with the constant awareness that our time in this world is limited. This awareness is not meant to create fear, but to awaken wisdom, devotion, and a sense of purpose. To illustrate this timeless teaching, we reflect upon a beautiful incident from the life of Sant Eknath Maharaj. A sincere seeker once approached the saint and asked how one could remain constantly absorbed in the remembrance of Bhagwan despite the countless distractions of worldly life. Instead of answering immediately, Sant Eknath told him that he had only seven days left to live. The man's entire perspective changed. The desires, worries, ambitions, and conflicts that had once occupied his mind suddenly lost all significance. He forgave those who had wronged him, gave up unnecessary attachments, and spent every moment remembering and chanting the holy names of Bhagwan. When Sant Eknath returned after seven days and asked whether worldly thoughts had disturbed him, the man replied that he had thought only of death and God. Smiling, Sant Eknath revealed the profound secret: one who remembers the certainty of death naturally learns to remember Bhagwan. This beautiful story echoes the very essence of Shukadev Ji's teachings to King Parikshit. The awareness of life's impermanence is not a cause for despair—it is a powerful reminder to live consciously, forgive freely, reduce attachment, and dedicate every moment to devotion. When we remember that this human life is temporary, we begin to value what is truly eternal. Presented in easy-to-understand Hindi, this episode beautifully connects the wisdom of the Srimad Bhaagwat with the teachings of the great saints of India. It inspires us to transform the fear of death into a life of devotion, compassion, self-reflection, and constant remembrance of Bhagwan Shri Hari. #SrimadBhaagwat #BhaagwatMahapuran #Skandh2 #Shukadev #KingParikshit #SantEknath #Bhakti #HariNaam #Krishna #Narayana #Vairagya #Meditation #SanatanDharma #Spirituality #Moksha #HindiPodcast #SpiritualPodcast #SatsangManthan #Sadhana #SelfRealization
