Have you been afraid to ask a trans person something for fear that it might be offensive?  Then you've come to the right place!  Building bridges and finding ways to effectively communicate is something I do every day as a pediatrician.  And it's even more important as a transgender woman myself.  I invite everyone to listen to my story whether you support the trans community or not.  It's through difficult conversations and a willingness to change that we'll find a way forward together.
