Say More

The same day that I listened to the episode on empathy and learned the phrase “It makes sense that . . . because . . .” my teenage daughter had a conversation with me about a tricky life circumstance. I used Emily’s phrasing instead of my usual “but” statements, and we were able to make it through the conversation without argument. This was huge. I’ve listened to every single episode, and through them, I’ve learned, laughed, and grown. Thank you, Emily and Andi, for your life-changing work. It has meant so much to me.

I have never not laughed aloud, during the opening segment. They are funny & charming & whimsical before sliding into deeper waters, each episode. And, even then… they weave levity into every very-relatable, earth-can-be-tricky-business topic, while providing solid, validating, no-judgement, insight. They SAY all the right things.

I started to listen and I couldn’t stop! From Andy’s hilarious stories and quips to Emily’s lilting laugh- this podcast was full of good feelings and solid teachings about the weight of being a beautifully broken person trying to find a way in this confusing world.

I personally know Andy and Emily and I’ve just learned so much about them as people spiritually and emotionally. LOVE IT
