Scam Junkie

This podcast has potential but it needs some work. First, I appreciate the angle of “here’s how to do this scam legally!” However, the script is redundant… in the lottery episode I heard the same line numerous times… it felt like he needed to fill time by repeating the same thing..? So my suggestion, is work on the script. The audio could use some work - especially if nine episodes in you are already telling the audience that they will soon have to pay for the content (umm… wait what? Nine episodes in?) It’s giving bold move and also I’m going to scam the audience into paying for stuff you can google online. I learned zero from this episode that I already didn’t know. A lot of this content is out there and available for free, both in the podcast world and online - so that bit was cringy, even for a scam podcast. I get everyone is trying to make this into a business. Maybe build up your podcast before you start scamming the audience? The real nail on the coffin for me is the cheesy background music playing the entire time. It’s like the continuous background music that plays on some HIIT YouTube workouts… except it’s during a podcast…about scams. I don’t know if to listen, or start doing some circuits? I guess one could do both? If you want to use the music in the intro and at the end, fine, but please cut it during the narration. It’s so distracting and really takes away from the message you’re trying to convey.

The first episode I listened to the person talked like someone in high school. Dry content. Much better podcasts out there.

For the first time ever he’s sharing 30 years worth of secrets to his scams which can be used legally to make money and influence people. Every episode so far is great and I’m learning so much. He’s got 6 episodes so far and a new one drops every week. I absolutely love Scam Junkie and so will you, that’s why I’m reviewing the podcast. But decide for yourself.
