Many leaders and members of the NFB Performing Arts Division have been hard at work putting together a comprehensive resource for directors, educators, and performers of all kinds on blind performers from our own perspective. Now, in this episode, PAD President Katelyn MacIntyre and Vice President Cristina Jones join Lizzy to unveil the publication. They chat about the experiences that led them to work on this project, how all of us can use it as a resource in our auditions, and some practical tips to dealing with the concerns and objections of sighted performers who just aren't sure about working with a blind person.
