    This story depicts the playfulness and helpfulness of the monkeys that lives in the village of Punj. The monkeys tried to play pranks until they learn to live cooperatively amidst the human friends, the epic Ramayana too tells us about the helpfulness of the army of monkeys.

    The parrot and the sparrow

    The neighbourhood had a garden with flora and fauna, and children loved playing about and learning of the various species. Green Peace movement was started and their pledge to save the environment brought them success. The chief birds residing in the garden ,the parrot and the sparrow were more than happy that their treetop homes were protected. A short story which could bring about much conversation and build on the concept of the clean and healthy environment.

    Tiara, and the cat with the balloon

    An adventurous fun filled imaginative story, that most of us can identify with ,as we did in our childhood, climbing walks and trees and running along fields ,with a scientific concept of the ascent with the help of a balloon and followed by a descent. An elation , an exhilaration followed by the reality.

    This story gives us great courage to fight back and be non discriminative of people as regards caste and creed. The lowest of the lowest person can rise to succeed ,if he or she has the will to do so. Courage, determination and focus helps us gain wisdom and strength ,to fight back, as a warrior.

    An imaginary tale of a little girl’s flight of fancy ,travel across to a wonderland , a travel with the Dew drop. This story also depicts the curiosity of understanding the various forms that water takes and the brilliant Sun facilitates these changes.

    The Red Peacock

    This story is based on the kingdom of Krishnadevaraya , a popular king of southern India lived and ruled along with his courtiers .However Tenali Ram , his wise and intelligent minister promises to change the flashy ways of the king . He saves him from being duped by one of his other minister , named Chatur Pandit.

    Often we discriminate persons through their size or even colour. Here is an order that baffled the villagers of Champaran , they saw the quiet attitudes of both the lion and the mouse and how they made a home for themselves under the mighty oak tree.

    The story depicts the kite flying season . In India, during the festival of Makar Sankranti , in the month of January, kite flying is a big event , enjoyed by young and old. The lessons of life can be learnt through kite flying, soaring and upholding our inherent values.

    An adaptation of a film on the principle of unity , depicting the life of fish , some small and big fish. The story outline has an interesting twist , with a very tiny fish leading the way , out of the jaws of the big red bully.

    Mulla Nasruddin was very well known for his wit and humour, he often helped people come out of trouble. This story aims at bringing the preschoolers to the first graders , connect to famous personalities through story telling.
