Come Hang with the Boys
Whether its barren lands of Tatooine or the sprawling scapes of our very own earth. There you’ll find the sci-fi boys doing what they do best, drinking nondescript seltzer water and making sure Kathleen Kennedy never touches Star Wars again… (clears throat) Actually what I meant to say was… There you’ll find the sci-fi boys drinking nondescript seltzer water and dismantling your favorite sci-fi tropes with witty banter that a true sci-fi nerd can appreciate.
With some of my favorite episodes such as the deep dive on “Underwater for Neil” or “The Platform”. It makes no difference whether the boys are giving a scathing review or singing a movie’s praises. It is always an enjoyable ride, and I now find myself waiting for the weekly hangout with the boys. The eclectic collection of viewpoints from the group offers great insight into themes and topics that can reflect on the current issues, while movies and shows that don’t require such analysis are still met with a comedic charm that makes you feel like one the boys.
Great job guys, don’t change a thing!
