30: How to Deal with Toxic People

In this episode, Jeremy shares some tips on how you can deal with difficult people. Toxic people are those who constantly complain, blame, make excuses, or flat out lie. They are always trying to be the center of attention and crowd pleasers. They thrive on trying to elevate themselves by minimizing or manipulating others. They thrive on drama and if there is no drama, they try to create it. Jeremy talks about how his Don't Sweat It mentality can help when dealing with toxic people. He also shares some ideas on how to respectfully remove yourself from toxic situations, including going outside to get some fresh air, going for a walk or working out, listening to some music, or taking a few minutes to pray or do some breathing exercises. Dealing with toxic people can be tough. They can bring you down to their level. They can drain you mentally and even physically. They can make you feel miserable. If you let toxic people get the best of you, they will, and they will enjoy every minute of it. But on the flip side, when you learn to deal with toxic people, it can change your life for the positive. Make today your day.
