Seriously, if you ever had a big brother or someone you admire, you can listen to this podcast and have that kind of experience. Grab a beer with them and hear some real cool stories about music, equipment, hockey and life. It really really feels like you are sitting next your big brothers tell stories... and lets face it, thats where you pick up all the good stuff.
Both Craig and Mick have some deep knowledge on gear and hockey. Even if you dont care about gear or hockey, they talk about it with excitement and passion so you actually want to know more. Some gear heads sound like a technical manual, but these guys make it sound like fun.
Also, the fact that they are drinking beer while chatting really gives you that “We’re all sitting around the kitchen having an intimate conversation” vibe.
Of course there are some cool BulletBoys stories for us hard core fans. Here again, Mick takes the high road with all explanations. A Gentleman Rocker. How refreshing.
The show has a good rhythm and moves at great pace. No wonky pauses. Again, its like hanging out in a garage and listening to those cool musician neighbors talk candidly. Plus there is some really cool bumper tunes for intro/beer break/and exit.
