Resolution: 'Then I Spoke with My Prayer, My Cry, and My Tears' | part 4

Psalm 39vv12-13 reads, “Hear my prayer, O LORD, and give ear to my cry; do not be silent at my tears; for I am a stranger with You, a sojourner, as all my fathers were. (v13) Remove Your gaze from me, that I may regain strength, before I go away and am no more.” Cambridge Bible for Schools and Colleges writes in part, “The earth is God’s, and man is His tenant upon it (Psalm 119:19). This being so, the Psalmist appeals for a hearing on the ground that he is but a temporary resident on the earth (Genesis 47:9), God’s guest for a while.” Let's get into it.

Resolution: 'Then I Spoke with My Sustainer' | part 3

Psalm 39vv7-11 reads, “And now, Lord, what do I wait for? My hope is in You. (v8) Deliver me from all my transgressions; do not make me the reproach of the foolish. (v9) I was mute, I did not open my mouth, because it was You who did it. (v10) Remove Your plague from me; I am consumed by the blow of Your hand. (v11) When with rebukes You correct man for iniquity, You make his beauty melt away like a moth; surely every man is vapor. Selah” Matthew Henry wrote in part, “We may see a good God doing all, and ordering all events concerning us; and a good man (and woman), for that reason, says nothing against it. He desires the pardoning of his sin, and the preventing of his shame. We must both watch and pray against sin.” Let's get into it.

Psalm 39vv4-6 reads, “LORD, make me to know my end, and what is the measure of my days, that I may know how frail I am. (v5) Indeed, You have made my days as handbreadths, and my age as nothing before You; certainly every man at his best state is but vapor. Selah (v6) Surely every man walks about like a shadow; surely they busy themselves in vain; he heaps up riches, and does not know who will gather them.” J.C. Ryle once wrote in part, “Never spend your time in such a way that you would not like to have God say, “What are you doing?” Let's get into it.

My heart was hot within me; while I was musing, the fire burned. Then I spoke with my tongue:” J.C. Ryle once wrote in part, “Say nothing you would not like God to hear.” Christian woman, what musings, contemplative thoughts, do you guard, avoid voicing to be victorious from within? What Defiles A Person: 'Evil Thoughts'

Mark 7:21 reads as our Savior says, “For from within, out of the heart of man, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, In this episode I’ll be giving thought to the Scriptures from the Scriptures only on the wording “evil thoughts” the first of defilements in Jesus’ list of heart excretions. Christian women, what is it for us to inwardly insult someone? What is it for us to inwardly assault someone? What is it for us then to catapult those inward affronts into outward fruition?

Great Is The LORD'S Faithfulness

Lamentations 3:25-27 reads, “The LORD is good to those who wait for Him, to the soul who seeks Him. 26 It is good that one should wait quietly for the salvation of the LORD. 27 It is good for a man that he bear the yoke in his youth.” What is it for the assur-ee to wait on the assur-er? What is it to know that the One who has rightly apportioned my predicament is also my Portion? Is good a characteristic of the LORD from the LORD that is then accredited to my soul’s satisfaction in waiting for Him?
