SDAQ&A S2:E2 of 86 - Dr John R. Godfrey - 'Des Ford & Glacier View Series’
May 2020, Second interview of Season two. With Dr John R. Godfrey. The SDAQ&A season that focused on the 40th Anniversary of Glacier View (Aug 1980) and Des Fords theological 'Trial' there. Many call this the most impactual event within Adventism since 1888's Righteousness by Faith Conference. What was going to be a mini, one month long 4-6 series set of interviews turned into 86 interviews with so many people that were there and more! Over maybe two years!! If you want to understand Glacier View - this is the Season that tells you everything you need to know. Next episode is with Dr Norm Young.

Peter and the SDA’s
This is a wonderful podcast both looking back some 40 years of contemporary Adventist history. Peter having lived in that world has a multitude of connections that allows him to cover Adventist personalities and historians and he does so in the gentlest of ways. Peter adds value to the spiritual historical realm and should be celebrated for it
Respectful and Honest
I saw on social media that Desmond Ford was near the end of his time on Earth, and ran into Peter in a social media group at about the same time. After listening to the interview series with Des, I downloaded Peter’s other podcasts and have been listening. I haven’t been SDA for decades, and live in the states so have never heard of any of these people. But, I love Peter’s respectful and gentle but honest style, and I’ve enjoyed listening to the interesting interviewees, so will keep listening! Give this podcast a try!
