    Are You Hungry

    Just because you are hungry doesn’t mean you should eat anything. I am amazed at all the garbage that is being served in church today. I have been a part of some fellowships and there is this mentality that God is limited to what we think. God said in Isa 55:6  Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: Isa 55:7  Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. Isa 55:8  For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. Isa 55:9  For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.When God said lean not to your own understanding, it is not wise to think what makes sense to us will also make sense with God.

    Praying A Way of Life

    If we could sees what happening in the spirit realm we would always pray. There is not one prayer that Jesus prayed that went unanswered, even the prayer he prayed in the garden was answered, because there was no other way. The bible says we have not because we ask not, but we have to know who to ask. When the bible says in "Jud 1:20  But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost", That means that we have to be ready to hear what our problem is first, or what we have done that created this situation in the first place. When we are the catalyst for bad things, we have to first forsake our way and our thoughts and let the Lord order our steps. Soldiers are not murderers, they are defenders. There is a difference between a murderer and a defender. God is a defender!!! Some things are determined to be and it is our attitude that determines whether we are going to get through this thing or not. So God gave us some beatitudes, Mat 5:44  But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you. This is your task, standard and condition, because you could be in a bad way yourself. If your heart has been affected you cannot see God, already working things out. Build yourself up, purify your heart, cleanse your hands, then call upon the Lord and he will answer thee.

    Everything You Want

    Today I want to tell you a story of a rich man that God increased only to end his life. He got everything he wanted, but he did not live to enjoy any of it. Our God, the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ promised to supply all of our needs and not all of our wants. What a mess this world would be if God gave us everything we wanted.

    Saved

    When people ask are you saved, most people will say yes, but from what? Sin! Whose sin? My own. So when I give you all that testimony about how immature I was when I first got saved. How I thought everyone else was my enemy, only to find out that I was my own worst enemy. It is easy for us all to blame the fictitious character called the devil, only after you have been saved for a while you realize the devil is you. Remember Peter, one minute he was Simon Barjonah and the next minute he was Satan. God wanted me to know that I was not the person I thought I was and if I refused to humble myself I will never be the person he created me to be. Every person is going to pay for their own sins and the wages of every sin is death. Evert time God would deal with me about myself, I would get upset and angry. I now have a phrase for that!!!

  5. Free Spirit

    Free Spirit

    God has never been subject to anyone or anything except his own words because his word is truth. When Adam sinned we all became subject to death and there is only one way to be free from death and that is life everlasting. God made man in his own image and likeness, so he did not make us to be subject to anything on this earth, but rather to have dominion over the earth. One soul is more valuable than this entire earth because God did not make you subject to anything or anyone on this planet. Man was made a living soul, translated, speaking spirit, or free spirit and it is because God has always been, what we call a free Spirit. Death had a hold on everyone since Adam sinned and we could not free ourselves. This is why the bible says in; Jhn 8:36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. It also tells us in; Jhn 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

    Theatrics

    When it come to theatrics, Jesus had something to say to theatrics “get the behind me Satan". When we define the word theatrics it means a “dramatic performance,” behavior that is intended to get attention: 2. plays and acting. A lot of what we are witnessing in the church today is behavior that is intended to get attention. We have watched The Passion of The Christ, Greenleaf, Woman thou art loosed, Facing The Giants, Noah's Ark, Moses, and the list goes on and on. These are all theatrics and are centered around drawing attention to some man. The great commission does not command us to go and make movies or to entertain. We are commanded to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

  7. Corrupt Wisdom

    Corrupt Wisdom

    A lot of biblical teaching today is being accepted because it sounds wise, seems right and is thought to be inspire or spoken by God. The light or wisdom that is in you can become darkness if you lean to your own understanding. We all have our own thoughts which God tells us is not his thoughts. We all have our own way which again God tells us is not his way. There is wisdom and there is corrupt wisdom, it is possible to use the wisdom of God and corrupt your own wisdom. Eve thought in the garden that the reason God did not want them to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil was because she thought they would be as gods themselves. Now that was her conclusion, however God had said that the day you eat from that tree you will surely die. Well we see that God was correct and Eve was wrong and this ushered in the darkness that we think is light. This is why Jesus said in our reference scripture; Mat 6:23 But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!

  8. Land of The Free

    Land of The Free

    There is this idea that we are living in the land of the free, and the home of the brave. For this to be true each person in America should have the right to do as they [please without repercussion. The whole ides of democracy is being challenged around the globe, because if a society emplace rules and laws on you without your consent then, you are not truly living in a free society even if it is called a democracy. If we are truly living in a free society, why one may ask, do we have so many people incarcerated in this country. Why are you still fighting for equal rights, Why are we still protesting for equal treatment under law. Why do we need a supreme court and government.
