Second Chance Movies

Joe and Jessica serve as great perspectives when it comes to revisiting movies. They maybe a little to honest about how their feeling effect their opinions, but the show is not about objectivity. Should you rewatch a feature knowing that you may not feel comfortable? This show gives you a good idea on how your gut can handle a flick that may need a reassessment.

This show is a movie review podcast but there’s something unique that makes it stand out from other review shows. Where others mention how a film did when first released, they actually tell you by reading critic reviews from the film’s initial release. Something I truly enjoyed hearing. It adds an extra level to their show. Which leads to giving some thoughtful opinions on the film. The show as a whole is very entertaining. Their Water World episode was the one I listened to. 5 stars!

Jessica and Joe are great fun to listen to. Just listened to their Power Rangers episode and really enjoyed how they discuss the film without immediately going down the “angry fanboy” rabbit hole. They’re funny and they’re thoughtful and they make great excellent points. Adding this to my subscription list.

I would most definitely recommend this show to anyone who wants to learn about movies. The hosting a great and the movies they pick are even better. I love listening to the perspectives and opinions they have about these films and I always learn something along the way. Check this show out you won’t regret it.
