And then, again and again, writing the same two words: Still here. This isn’t an episode about whether motivation is good or bad. Or whether encouragement helps or harms. It’s a Field Note, an attempt to stay with something uncomfortable without resolving it too quickly. About the difference between shelter and movement. About how encouragement can soothe real pain, and sometimes quietly replace agency. About what it means to return to the same place, year after year, and call survival an achievement. I don’t offer advice.I don’t tell you what to do next. I just leave one question hanging: Am I moving, or am I just still here?
