Second Shot

What a heartfelt story! Thank you. I met Jeannette when Jenny was about 2 or 3 so that was only a few years post injury. I worked briefly with her at the athletic club but more importantly I left my son in the day care with total confidence in Jeannette. As we became friends she eventually shared with me about the accident and her subsequent injuries. Unfortunately our lives drifted apart as our children grew but I consider her a good friend and a truly beautiful person and I’m proud to have known Jeanette. Thanks for loving your mom so deeply that you could talk about this personal story.

Heath, thank you for sharing the story from your Pastor. We all deal with burdens from time to time but taking on “loads” can destroy people from the inside. If we stop enabling those around us and allow them to carry their own load, we all come out better in the end. Thanks again, love the show!!
