    Friendship Isn't a Hallmark Movie

This week, the girls tackle one of the hardest and least talked about parts of adulthood: friendship. Because despite what every coming-of-age movie promised us, friendships aren't always easy, permanent, or simple. In fact, Dalany and Payton argue that friendships might actually be more complicated than romantic relationships. The girls talk about all the different kinds of friendships they've experienced: the lifelong besties, the fly-on-the-wall friends, the activity friends, the coworkers who accidentally became family, the friends-in-law, and of course, the legendary A-A-Ron friends. They unpack what they thought friendship would look like growing up versus what it actually looks like as adults. They talk about: ✨ Why making and maintaining friendships gets so much harder as you age 💔 The friendship breakups that still hurt 🤝 How to manage expectations, boundaries, and compatibility 🌱 When friendships evolve and when they slowly devolve ⚖️ When to fight for a friendship and when to let the fade happen 🔥 Friendship hot takes, including the controversial opinion that some people are only good in group settings And then the girls ask the real Elephant Room question: Who do you still miss? Because some friendships leave marks on us forever, even when they're over. At the end of the day, finding your people takes time. Some friendships are seasonal. Some are lifelong. Some are complicated. And some people somehow become home. Luckily for Dalany and Payton, they're pretty sure they're stuck with each other. The chaos is emotional, the hot takes are controversial, and the elephant in the room is that we're all still figuring out how to be friends. 🐘✨ Call your best friend. Text the one you miss. And come sit in the Elephant Room with us.

The Chaos Never Took PTO (Chaos Chronicles #2 S2)

The girls are back after a month "off"... and by off, we mean barely surviving the chaos that was May. This month has officially been dubbed May Madness, and for good reason. Between work, life, travel, unexpected opportunities, and the general nonsense that seems to follow them wherever they go, Dalany and Payton have a lot of catching up to do. (not really, you know what we mean) The girls fill you in on everything that's happened over the past month, what they've been learning, what they've been surviving, and what exciting things are coming next. There was even a trip where they got to see each other in person, but unfortunately no episode came from it because they spent the entire time simply enjoying being together. Apparently friendship won over content creation for once (well...kinda). But don't worry, the reunion drought won't last long. The girls reveal some exciting plans that will have them seeing each other again much sooner than expected, tease an upcoming episode they're especially excited about, and reflect on how quickly life can change when you least expect it. Of course, no Chaos Chronicles episode would be complete without a little discussion of fate, coincidence, and the growing body of evidence that Payton's manifestation powers may actually be becoming a problem. 🍌⚾ The chaos is back, the life updates are overdue, and the elephant in the room is that taking a month off somehow gave us even more stories to tell. So grab your drink, settle in for the catch-up, and come spiral with us in the Elephant Room. 🐘✨

    The Sunday Scaries

There are two types of girls on a Sunday: the productive go-getters and the productive rest-ers. This week, Dalany and Payton spend an hour trying to convince themselves they're the second type. As the Sunday Scaries settle in, both girls are running on fumes. Payton is preparing for a trip to Las Vegas, Dalany is recovering from being sick, and neither of them feels particularly ready to face another work week. Naturally, this leads to a deep discussion about rest, productivity, and the guilt that somehow manages to sneak into both. The girls talk about: ☕ Their ideal Sunday routines 😴 Why resting can feel harder than working 📞 The importance of calling your best friend every Sunday (a long-standing Elephant Room tradition) ✨ How to hype yourself up when motivation is low 🫶 How to calm yourself down when life feels overwhelming 🌅 What their dream days would actually look like if reality wasn't a factor Somewhere between the productivity talk and the exhaustion, things get a little delusional. The girls start planning fantasy Sundays, romanticizing their lives, and wondering if maybe the secret to happiness is simply allowing yourself to take a nap. Because sometimes the most productive thing you can do is rest. The vibes are sleepy, the tangents are caffeine-fueled, and the elephant in the room is that neither of us wants it to be Monday. So put off your chores for another hour, grab a blanket, and come sit in the Elephant Room with us. 🐘☁️

Chaos is BACK, Baby (Chaos Chronicle #1 S2)

The Chaos Chronicles are BACK for Season 2… and we are picking up right where we left off — emotionally vulnerable one second, absolutely unhinged the next. The girls start by recovering from Dalany’s birthday episode (yes, the one that made everyone feel something), before immediately spiraling into the birthday festivities: the parties, the iconic PowerPoint night (“23: Where Will She Be?”), and a night out on the town where Dalany had a very important mission… that may or may not have been completed. We’ll let you decide if it was a success or a cop out. Then, casually, life-changing information gets dropped — Dalany moving to Seattle might actually be a real possibility… and Payton has the dream receipts to prove it. Of course, we couldn’t go an episode without: ⚾ Banana Ball updates (always) 💘 The shocking revelation that people we know have MET Jackson Olson 🎤 A full breakdown of who we think we could realistically pull (Payton is shocked, Dalany is confident, as she should be) 💃 Megan Thee Stallion as Ziegler in Moulin Rouge — and yes, she has our official stamp of approval We round things out with our Moods & Modes (what we’re doing, loving, and obsessing over), a little sneak peek of what’s coming next, and then… somehow… end on unexpected Dalany family lore that even Dalany didn’t plan on sharing. The chaos is unfiltered, the tangents are endless, and the elephant in the room is… well, everything. Grab your drink, catch up on the drama, and come spiral with us in the Elephant Room. 🐘✨

    The Personal Style Spiral

Alright… we know things have been a little deep lately. So this week we’re talking about something extremely important, highly intellectual, and not complicated at all… fashion. The girls will never claim to know how to look good, but we definitely know something. We’re just not sure what that something is yet. We go through our fashion eras over the years (including the shocking revelation that Payton might have been a fashion baddie in high school… and she did not know it at the time). Then we spiral into what we wish our style was now, what we think it is, and what it realistically can be. Because personal style isn’t just about what you like. It’s what you can afford, what actually looks good on you, what your lifestyle allows, your hair, your makeup, your tattoos, your nails, your color season, your birth chart, your confidence level, and apparently the emotional stability you have that week. We talk about the struggle of wanting one aesthetic but being born for another, the very real barriers of body types and budgets, and why sometimes the outfit only works if you believe it works. If anyone out there actually understands fashion… please help. We are taking applications. At the end of the day, the best thing you can wear is confidence. Even if the outfit is questionable. So grab your mirror, try on five outfits you hate, put one back on anyway, and come sit in the Elephant Room with us. The fits are inconsistent, the opinions are strong, and the elephant in the room is… we just want to feel hot. 🐘✨👗

    Lucky Girl Syndrome

Lucky Girl Syndrome… because obviously everything works out for us. It’s March, the luck of the Irish is in the air, and the girls are leaning all the way into it. Both Dalany and Payton come from strong Irish roots, so this time of year always feels a little extra magical. Dalany fully claims her title as the St. Patrick’s Day princess as she talks about the traditions she grew up with — including the parades her dad puts on and the chaos that comes with celebrating the holiday properly. Naturally, the conversation spirals into manifesting, luck, and whether you can actually convince the universe to be on your side. The girls quickly realize they approach this very differently. Dalany trusts the universe completely and lets the magic happen. Payton… stresses about all the work she has to do first and then thanks the universe anyway. Dalany deep dives into the psychology behind “Lucky Girl Syndrome,” while Payton mostly contributes chaotic anecdotes and increasingly unhinged lucky girl affirmations. Somewhere along the way the girls realize their usual dynamics might have switched a little this episode. But maybe that’s the point. Sometimes luck looks like manifesting your dreams. Sometimes it looks like working yourself into the ground and hoping it pays off. And sometimes it’s simply finding the right people to laugh through the chaos with. So grab something green, trust the universe (or your to-do list), and come sit in the Elephant Room with us. Because lately… the girls are feeling luckier than ever. 🍀🐘✨
