This is Security From Zero
My name's Eric Higgins and I'm the founder of Brindle Consulting which helps technology companies to build their cybersecurity programs from scratch.
My book, Security From Zero, is based on my work as a security advisor and was written to demystify the topic of cybersecurity for those who aren't experts in that field, but are nevertheless tasked with leading those efforts for their company.
The goal of this book is to be the layman's guide to cybersecurity -- understanding when it's time for your business to start thinking about security, how to identify and assess the actual risks your organization might face, how to create a data-driven strategy about what efforts are right for you, and how to build an effective security program from the ground up that's proactive, realistic, and sustainable.
