    74. 15-Year Breast Cancer Survivor & 2x Boston Marathon Finisher Stasi Trout

What does strength look like after breast cancer—and how do you learn to believe in your body again after everything it has been through? In this episode, Kelsey sits down with 15-year breast cancer survivor, two-time Boston Marathon finisher, fitness professional, and Susan G. Komen Columbus Leadership Board member Stasi Trout. Stasi shares her breast cancer journey, how the experience shaped the woman she is today, and the role fitness and movement played in rebuilding both her physical strength and her confidence. Together, they talk about an often-overlooked part of the breast cancer journey: what happens after treatment ends. Stasi shares what she wishes more people understood about survivorship, why continuing to serve women impacted by breast cancer has become such an important part of her life, and how her definition of strength has evolved through everything she has faced. In this conversation, you’ll hear about:• Stasi’s journey through breast cancer and 15 years of survivorship• How fitness helped her rebuild strength and confidence• What people often misunderstand about life after treatment• Why community and support matter throughout the breast cancer journey• How running the Boston Marathon became part of Stasi’s story• What she would tell a woman currently facing breast cancer• Learning to believe in your strength again after your body has been through something difficult• How Stasi’s definition of strength has changed through adversity This episode is for the woman walking through breast cancer, the survivor learning to trust her strength again, and anyone who needs the reminder that strength can look very different than it once did. Sometimes strength is fighting. Sometimes it is rebuilding. And sometimes it is choosing to step forward and discover just how strong you still are. Through Xpand Your Limits’ For the One mission, Women Xpanding Limits is partnering with Susan G. Komen on October 24th with two major goals: • Fund 50 breast cancer survivors to compete in Women Xpanding Limits completely free• Fund 10 $400 assistance grants for newly diagnosed breast cancer patients to help with needs such as transportation, medical expenses, food, childcare, and more To learn more, sponsor a survivor, donate, or join us at Women Xpanding Limits:xpandyourlimit.com/wxl-2026 xpandyourlimit.com/wxl-komen To connect with Stasi: https://www.instagram.com/stasitrouttraining/ To learn more about Susan G. 74. Building Emotional Intelligence with Thalia Dorsten

What does it look like to pursue growth in every area of your life—not just your career, fitness, or outward success? In this episode, Kelsey sits down with Thalia Dorsten to talk about her journey of healing, self-discovery, and stepping into new levels of personal growth. Thalia shares why true healing goes beyond the mind and body, how our emotional and spiritual well-being influence the way we live and perform, and why high achievers often need to slow down and look inward before they can sustainably move forward. Together, they explore what it means to release old patterns, become more connected to yourself, and create success from a place of wholeness rather than constantly striving for more. In this conversation, you’ll hear about: • Why healing must address the whole person • How unresolved patterns can quietly limit high performers • The connection between inner healing and outward success • Learning to listen to your body, emotions, and intuition • How to pursue growth without losing yourself in the process • What becomes possible when you create space for deeper transformation This episode is for anyone who knows they are capable of more—but recognizes that reaching their next level may require more than another strategy, goal, or achievement. Sometimes the next level is not about doing more. It is about healing, reconnecting, and becoming the person who is ready to hold it. 72. Announcing Women Xpanding Limits | 2026

In this powerful and purpose-filled episode, Kelsey officially announces Women Xpanding Limits—a one-of-a-kind fitness and wellness festival created to help women step outside their comfort zones, pursue meaningful goals, and redefine what they believe is possible. Drawing from her experience completing 48 competitions in 48 states in 48 days through Mission48, Kelsey shares the moment she witnessed women and girls of all ages come together in rural Kansas to challenge themselves, encourage one another, and discover strength they did not know they had. Kelsey unpacks why so many women become comfortable, stop dreaming, and wait to take action until they feel confident or ready. She explains why confidence is not something you find before the challenge—it is something you build by committing, preparing, and courageously showing up. The training creates discipline, the discipline creates confidence, and that confidence begins to transform every other area of your life. She also shares the full vision behind Women Xpanding Limits, including the Women’s 1-Miler and 5K, Push-Pull Lifting Meet, HYROX Physical Fitness Test, Hybrid divisions, and Ultimate Athlete competition. Beyond the competitions, the day will feature vendors, recovery experiences, food trucks, live music, a bonfire, and a community of women choosing courage over comfort together. Through XYL’s “For the One” mission, Women Xpanding Limits will also support Susan G. Komen and the breast cancer community. Ten percent of event registration proceeds will benefit Komen, while participants and supporters will have the opportunity to fund survivor registrations, write encouragement letters, and honor women impacted by breast cancer through the Survivor Spotlight. This episode is an invitation to stop waiting until fear disappears, choose a goal that requires you to grow, and take the next courageous step. Because courage does not begin when you finally feel ready—it begins when you decide your purpose is greater than your comfort. 71. The R Factor with Heather Verity, CEO of Focus 3 & Author of The R Factor

In this powerful and deeply honest conversation, Kelsey sits down with Heather Varity—CEO of Focus 3 and author of The R Factor—to explore the story behind the woman, leader, and mission. Heather shares how she rose from an unstable childhood, financial hardship, a near-death experience, and one of the darkest seasons of her life to build a life rooted in purpose, strength, and service. She reveals how a wake-up call at 3:33 a.m. led her to ask, “What if I bought Focus 3?”—and why she chose to say yes before knowing how it would happen. Together, Kelsey and Heather unpack what it means to recognize the nudges placed on your heart, create enough stillness to hear them, choose faith over fear, and take the first step before the entire staircase appears. This episode is a reminder that your past does not disqualify you, your lowest moment does not have to be your final chapter, and everything can change when you stop asking, “Why me?” and begin asking, “Why not me?”To connect with Heather: -Visit focus3.com-Follow @focus3team on social media-Purchase the R Factor on AmazonTo connect with Kelsey: -Join our XYL Summer Book Club: https://xpandyourlimit.com/bookclub-Join the One Degree Newsletter: https://xpandyourlimit.com/theonedegree-Follow Kelsey on socials: @kelseylensmanVisit Xpand Your Limits:-Join events and coaching at xpandyourlimit.com-Follow XYL on socials @xpandyourlimits-Follow Seek the Edge Podcast on socials @seektheedgepod
