    S2E2: The Dating Game (Featuring DT Talks Podcast)

    Aloha Conchitas! In the first podcast collab of Season 2, we are joined by special guest Terrell Wu, the co-host of DT Talks Podcast! All the way from Hawaii, Terrell chats with Evelyn and Stephany about the dating game or in other words, our modern dating culture. Let's face it Conchitas, dating can make a lot of us feel self-conchas. To help you out Terrell, Stephany and Evelyn discuss why dating in our 20's is hard, what the 5 love languages are and why we should apply them in all of our relationships, and how dating yourself may be the most crucial step in order to cultivate a healthy relationship with someone else, but most importantly with yourself.

    S1E14: Moments and Conchas (Part 1)

    *Listener Discretion is Warned* This episode will touch on some heavy subjects and may trigger some listeners.

    In this episode, we are joined by Melissa, the Latina Host of Moments with Melissa Podcast. On this podcast collab episode, both Melissa and Stephany disclose the ordeal of the traumatic events surrounding each of their siblings and how that altered their relationship with God, their families, and themselves. Both Melissa and Stephany will go into detail about how such events affected their mental health and the repercussions that ensued for not seeking help earlier and for not being a space where talking about the struggles of mental health was normalized. We hope this episode will shine some light on the importance of prioritizing one's mental health.

     FULL DISCLOSURE: We acknowledge Eztli's non-binary sexual orientation and respect their chosen pronouns of they/them/she.  While Stephany does at times say "brother" or "him/he" pronouns, please be aware that Eztli had given her permission to continue using said pronouns and refer to them as "brother". In the moment of the conversation while it was failed to be corrected, please know that unless someone has given you permission to do so, continue to use their chosen pronouns out of respect. Thank you for understanding Conchitas.

@RelaxTim ,

No Sugarcoating

Woman in her mid twenties with A LOT of life experience, even at a young age! Stephany is very casual about real life incidents, and issues. There is no sugarcoating from her. Very raw and real. She also has a good podcasting voice, which is sometimes overlooked.

So GOOD!

These chicas serve such realness and the vibe in their show makes it so that you’re able to feel such ambiance. The key topics that they touch on are deep, & this how has a way that does help you to be less self-conchas. Empowering is what comes to mind. Personally when I heard the ‘Unpacking Childhood Trauma’ episode I started off a slight bit triggered, (trauma survivor here ), but I felt that throughout the episode there was a gentle way that this segment was delivered it helped me
to relax into it. This show is well worth you’re time!!!!

Powerful and Emotional

This is the first podcast that brought me to tears. It’s a deeply emotional show that handles tough topics such as trauma, abuse, and mental health. Host Stephany is not afraid to explore and share her own personal pain as well as her journey towards healing. It’s a podcast that can hit hard, but it might be the show that lets you know you’re not alone.
