Aimee Horton & Fi Star-Stone

Me time, when there’s no time. Aimee Horton and Fi Star-Stone are passionate about self care, and when we say self care, we don't mean self maintenance! Day-to-day washing & having a hot cup of tea isn't self care. It's about making time to put yourself first, and recharge. But it's not all hair and face masks either. With regular guests, we dig down about imposter syndrome, comparison culture, and how looking after ourselves isn't selfish. --- www.selfishpodcast.co.uk Find Aimee on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook and Find Fi on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook

Series 2 - Episode 6: Zoe Burnett - The Barefoot Rebel - Eating Disorder Recovery

**Trigger Warning - Eating disorders** This week’s episode, with Zoe Burnett, was recorded a while ago, but listening back to it over the last couple of days, was a brilliant reminder of how blooming brilliant the conversation was. An International public speaker, Author & mental warrior, suicide survivor and TedX speaker, Zoe has a lot to say. She is raw, strong and honest. She's also fun, hilarious, and was an utter pleasure to talk to.  She talks about her experiences of being told she 'was too fat' to have an Eating Disorder, and her recovery. We are so proud to have Zoe on our show. ---- Important Links: Anxiety UK Charity providing support if you have been diagnosed with an anxiety condition. 2. Series 2 - Episode 1: Kate Dyson on Comparison Culture, and the loss of responsibility of our words.

Series 2 - Episode 1: Kate Dyson on Comparison Culture, and the loss of responsibility of our words.

We're delighted to kick off our second series with the wonderful Kate Dyson, who is the founder of The Motherload - an absolutely invaluable Facebook group for mums. Kate got us kicked out of zoom twice because we were talking too much, we laughed a lot, swore far too much (😬) and put the world royally to rights. In this week's episode, we talk about comparison culture, hiding in the pantry, trusting our instincts, and whether we've lost the responsibility of our words. The episode goes live first thing tomorrow across the usual platforms, and we really hope you enjoy listening to it, and get as much out of it, as we did when we were recording it. You can find The Motherload Facebook Group here, the website here, and Kate's Instagram here. ---- Important Links: Anxiety UK Charity providing support if you have been diagnosed with an anxiety condition.
