Luckily I stumbled upon Carl’s podcast, and then YouTube channel as me and my wife are getting more and more into a self sufficiency lifestyle. We’re moving into a 6 acre farm within the next 2 months and getting all of our ideas for livestock and gardening together now. Carl’s short and easy to digest podcasts are perfect to listen to while at work and FULL of great knowledge. We couldn’t wait until we moved into our farm and went ahead and installed 3 raised beds at her parent house (1.5 acres), using the “no dig method” Carl talks about. This is an excellent podcast. Each episode is chock full of useful info for anyone trying to gain more self-sufficiency. Carl has opened up a new world of small homesteading that is accessible to anyone with a small backyard. Five stars!
