Please come back. I know I should have written this 5-star review earlier. I err. Oh, how I err. Now, I find myself two weeks without a new installment, and I'm starting to grow concerned. Of course this podcast is one of the best out there. In a sea of one inane interview after another, Senses Working Overtime swims on its own. David Cross is himself. There is no artifice. There is no attempt to people-please or kowtow. He respects his guests by giving them an experience with him that's real and always engagin. And you, the listener, benefit right along with them. Don't get me wrong, he'll get you laughing with his ability to turn even the mundane into a bit for improv fodder and sheer goofiness. I've laughed aloud several times, and I'm not one who does that easily or often. Don't sleep on this one. It started out great and got better from there. I wait each week for a new episode and can't wait to see what unfolds from this genuine human being willing to share his humanity with you. It doesn't get a lot better than that. Please come back Senses Working Overtime. This 58 year-old kid can't get enough. Thank you. :-)

Yo, loving each show and genuinely laughing heartily. Very entertaining convos with guests you just meet or the sessions with old long time party buddies (non-gendered use of buddies). Thanks for helping me find The Cavedogs and now Tge Feelies ... geez my midwest years sucked for good bands.
