Supersized: United States v. Josh Duggar
Join us for a supersized episode covering the trial of Josh Duggar, former star of 19 Kids and Counting (or however many they're up to).
We'll spend the first part of the episode breaking down the red flags in Josh's background that made his arrest for possession of child sexual exploitation material (CSEM) in April 2020 foreseeable, including the Duggar family's involvement in the ultra-conservative Institute in Basic Life Principles Church (IBLP) and its homeschooling curriculum, ATI.
The remainder of the episode breaks down the federal government's prosecution of Duggar, which resulted in his conviction in December 2021. He has not yet been sentenced. -
Britney Spears and her Conservatorship, part 2
Join us for a comprehensive followup to our very first episode on Britney Spears and her controversial conservatorship, and the new Netflix documentary "Britney v. Spears." So much has transpired since our first episode was published: Britney's shocking testimony before the court, the resignation of her attorney (who Jessica thinks might be the real villain in this story), and the removal of Jamie Spears as conservator.
We are joined in this episode by Mike Siebenaler, star of Season 9 of the Norwegian smash hit reality show "Alt for Norge," creator of @French.dressing.in.the.wild on Insta, and self-proclaimed Britney Spears Superfan.

State v. Mark Redwine
Bitter divorce. Sexual kinks. Murder. Dr. Phil. What more could you ask for in a true crime episode?
In July 2021, a Colorado jury found Mark Redwine guilty of the murder of his teenage son, Dylan Redwine. The prosecution opined that the murder was the result of a deteriorating relationship between the father and son, exacerbated by graphic sexual photos that Dylan found on his father's laptop several months before Dylan went missing. The conviction came after the parents' contentious appearance on The Dr. Phil Show and the dismissal of competing wrongful death lawsuits against each other.
Join us to discuss all of the evidence and court proceedings, along with loyal listener Brad Cole, who even forced himself to watch Dr. Phil to prepare for the episode. -
Wrapping up State v. Chauvin with Larry Williams
This week, Jessica and BR are joined by Houston criminal defense attorney, Larry Williams, to wrap up the coverage and analysis of the Derek Chauvin trial for the murder of George Floyd during an arrest in Minneapolis. You don't want to miss it - It's our best episode yet!
(Larry Williams is employed by the Harris County Public Defender's office and the opinions he expresses on our show are his individual opinions and do not necessarily represent the opinions of the Harris County Public Defender). -

Say what? In this 10-minute mini-episode, Jessica breaks down the facts and the Supreme Court's reluctant opinion.
Sidebar is a new feature of Sequestered: The Podcast. Tune in for a quick breakdown of cases you might be seeing in the media. It's the same analysis and sass you've come to expect from Sequestered, in an abbreviated form.
