    Make Your Own Path - 'Devs' Episode 8 After Show

    In the finale of Devs, everything is revealed and unfolds. Lily finally enters the heart of Devs only to find Forrest sitting in the screening room waiting for her. Forrest explains that he has seen this interaction play out multiple times before and instead of telling Lily what happened, she asks him to show her. The video Forrest shares shows Lily holding Forrest at gunpoint as they exit the screening room and go to the side elevator exit. While the box transports the two of them Lily shoots Forrest and punctures the box causing them them to collapse in the electromagnetic field completely exposed. Lily crawls out and dies. After present Lily and Forrest watch this the events start to play out. Forrest makes it clear that NOTHING can change these series of events. It is going to happen. Lily escorts Forrest by gunpoint and they enter the side elevator. Alison Pill closes the door and before it closes Lily THROWS THE GUN OUT THE DOOR - EFFECTIVELY CHANGING WHAT SHE SAW. The door closes and everyone's minds are metaphorically blown. However, Stuart at the other side of the elevator decides to turn the transportation device off resulting in the elevator dropping, shattering, and exposing Lily and Forrest to electromagnetism. They both die. The path was slightly different, but they both die. This is where it gets WILD. So try to keep up... Forrest appears on the Dev's screen while Alison Pill explains that he has died and this is a copied version of him in the devs technology. She tells him that they are going to use Lyndon's theory and initiate him in a multiverse version of reality. Forrest says "f**k it lets do it". CUT TO Lily waking up where we met her episode 1 in her San Fransisco apartment with none other than Sergei. The day plays out. Sergei has a presentation at Devs, they commute, Lily is gobsmacked. Deja Vu in it's truest form. Sergei notices Forrest drive by their bus stop as they enter Devs building. Lily stops Sergei to check his iPhone - the same iPhone that contained a sudoku app connected to a secret Russian intelligence group. Sergei flips out and snags his phone back, only to walk away to his presentation. Lily walks to Devs where all of the shit hit the fan only to see three figures playing in a meadow. It's Forrest, his wife, and his daughter -alive and well. Forrest notices Lily and walks to her. He explains that they are in another reality -another version of time. Everything that happened, happened... but now they get to relive it a little differently. A timeline where there's no reason for Forrest to kill Sergei because his daughter is alive, but one thing remains the same: Lily is following her own path. The show ends with her rushing to the San Fransisco train station to interrupt Jamie on his home commute. She calls his name and gives him the most passionate hug. Jamie might not know what Lily had been through but he know she has changed. The End.     Devs Broke Her World, So She'll Break Theirs - S1 E7 'Devs' Recap & Review

    On this week's incredible episode of Devs... we pick up right where we left off. Lily and Jaimie wake up post coitus and Lily explains how she is going to ruin Katie's "plan" by staying put in her apartment. Meanwhile, Katie leaves Forrest's house to her car where she already knows Lyndon is waiting for her. They drive to a reservoir/dam and talk about the future. Katie tells Lyndon that she has seen this interaction in multiple timelines and knows how it ends. Lyndon stands on the ledge of this dam and he either falls and dies or stands straight and is brought back into Devs. Ultimately, Lyndon falls to his death and that's how it always was going to end. Kenton breaks into Lily's apartment and kills Jaimie (REST IN PEACE JIM HA). Almost kills Lily but homeless man Pete comes in and saves her by killing Kenton. Pete is a a Russian spy!!!!! He saves Lily and leaves. Lily has two choices, move to Hong Kong or go to the CIA. She chooses walk to Devs, tee-ing up the most exciting finale for next week. Whatever it is that Alex Garland has in store for us next week, we have loved the ride so far.     Is Devs Creating the Future? - S1 E6 'Devs' Recap & Review

    In the Episode 6 of Devs Lily and Jamie approach Forest at his house. Surprisingly Katie is staying with Forest and both are awaiting both. After Katie and Forest are separating Lily and Jamie from each other, Katie openly explains to Lily what Devs is all about while Forest is trying to get closer to Jamie winning him over by talking about loved ones they lost. Lily doesn't believe Katie and refuses Katie's statement of Lily being at Devs the next night as she would play an important in a breakdown of human kind that is about to happen. While both are leaving Forest and Katie, Kenton is sitting in his car observing now assuming that they are all working against him together. Back home Lily invites Jamie to sleep in her bed and Jamie is finally having his love of his life back.     Kenton did not kill Jamie, but he is threatening to kill everyone he cares about if this is taken any further. Sergei and Lily's initial meeting and intimate moment in bed is revealed through the projections. Forest approaches Katie after a lecture. Dev employees conduct a new study that brings a mouse back to life. Young Lily and her father appear for the first time in what looks like a projection being watched by Katie. Lily's father dies, but the cause is unknown at this time. Lily is laying in the hospital at the end of this episode before Jamie comes in and sneaks her out of the window.     Lily still wants to investigate the murder of Sergei without calling the police while Jamie thinks doesn't think it's a good idea to do all that by themselves. In the meantime Lynden is developing a code which makes her hear a male voice from about 2000 years ago speaking in Aramaic. Forest out of a sudden fires her as he believes she is lying and making the whole thing up. Lynden can't believe his decision and has a hard time to leave Devs. Surprisingly Katie, usually always playing after the rules' uses the code Lynden developed to show Forest his daughter playing with bubbles in the past. He can't believe is and starts crying. When Lily comes to her home Kenton is already waiting for her taking her to the psychiatrist who is part of the mob Devs created in town. After Kenton leaves with Lily he tells her that he found out that Lily is not schizofrenic and made the whole story up. They get in to a fight and are having a huge car crash in the middle of the freeway. Lily can escape and runs home to finally call the police. But when the police is showing up at her door front, she is realizing that Devs is not just working together with the psychiatrist even the police is doing what they want and arresting Lily for personal injury against Kenton.     The “fuzzy projection” is finally revealed to us and Forest lets the Senator in on what Devs is creating, a prediction algorithm. After Sergei’s death, Lily returns to work but is paranoid that she can’t trust those around her. She confides in Jen and goes to speak to Kenton about the findings centered around Sergei’s death. Lily has a mental break down and ends up outside of Kenton’s office on the edge of the building. Lily and Jen appear to be working together. They ride off together and Jen gives USB to Lily containing the footage from the night of Sergei’s death. Lily and Jamie watch the USB footage together.
