Wonderful

I love the discussion and even more so, the mini episodes. Listening to the oral histories is just fascinating.

These are great! The discussions give so much info on the piece with additional historical perspective that would be difficult to obtain on your own. Thanks!!!!

Powerful oral histories and good discussion

I've listened to the first fifteen episodes and have really enjoyed both the discussion of the films and the powerful oral history follow-up podcast. These are entertaining and thought provoking with real depth. The way to make the show better and get my fift star is to 1. get some real diversity- racial, national, and gender on the panel, 2. try not to overspeak the women and steamroll their opinions when they wre on panel - let go of the boys club, and 3. use oral histories of women (the one from league of their own was not enough) and soldiers from other countries so that context can be given to their actions - not just the standout evil villains in charge. Thanks and keep up the good work.
