Severance

Nice to have a lengthy podcast to listen to during the week while waiting on a new episode. I am going to go nuts, however, if this one guy doesn’t start pronouncing Helena’s name correctly.

Glad this season is over. The last episode was off topic.

One of the best podcast groups out there!

I really want to love this podcast because the hosts seem like genuinely nice people, and I appreciate their enthusiasm. However, after following them across multiple series, I find each episode a tough listen. The amount of details they overlook and the theories they propose—many of which could easily be disproven by paying closer attention to the show—can be pretty frustrating. It’s clear they don’t rely on other podcasts or read much about the episodes before recording, which I do give them credit for since their takes are entirely their own. But as someone who listens to other podcasts covering the same series, I often find myself yelling at my headphones: “How did you miss this?” or “The showrunners literally said that’s not the case!” That said, I still listen because I crave more content about the shows I love. I’ve come to accept this podcast as purely entertainment rather than a deep analytical breakdown. If you’re looking for casual discussion without much research, it might be a good fit for you. I just wish the hosts were a bit more thorough in their approach. Sorry, guys—I really do think you’re great people!
