    SOUL: Mastering Midlife Meditation

    SOUL: Mastering Midlife Meditation

This is the FIRST podcast Episode for 2022! And what a great way to start the year with a discussion on gratitude and the power of meditation. My guest, Lori Saitz is based in the US and is the CEO of Zen Rabbit and the Host of the podcast "Fine is a 4-letter Word". Lori is an award-winning writer, speaker, broadcaster and a nationally recognized expert in using gratitude and meditation as shortcuts to success.

In this episode we discuss the how the mind can shift with a daily "gratitude attitude". Throw in a meditation practice and the power of creating and fulfilling your dream life becomes clearer. With the challenges of the past two years, for managing stress and anxiety alone, meditation is a well recognised tool.

Leah's doing just fine ,

Love this Podcast!!

I need to reach out and ‘Thank you’ for having this conversation and for your frank but approachable attitude toward it all. I’ve only just tuned in and heard a couple of episodes so far and what a relief! Hearing you (and your lovely husband) discuss the topic of menopause has been a literal life line for me. I’m just 44 and have actually been actively trying to conceive a baby with my new husband. We started trying as soon as we got together 4 years ago, without luck unfortunately. My own mum passed away when I was only 19 and with no other female friends or family around me that I can turn to for counsel, I have been like a leaf blowing in the wind for the last few years. I suspect that the earliest symptoms of peri menopause started for me about 2 years ago (now that I’m aware of what they are) and combined with the pressure of wanting so badly to be pregnant, but instead just having longer periods, more severe PMS, increased anxiety and depression - adding to that, our wedding had been canceled due to COVID (we did elope), fertility treatments coming to a stop (and failing) the crazy stresses of being a newly married couple, moving and job changes and simultaneously becoming a full time stepmother to a 6 year old daughter....I have been feeling so so lost and could not see my way straight. I’m so glad that I found your pod cast and the fact that you’re kiwi and have such a lovely accent brings my soul so much peace and joy (my mum is from NZ). It almost makes me feel like she’s with me through this and you cannot even understand how much comfort that brings to me. So I’m sorry for this long rambling review post, you may never even read it but please know that you have made a huge difference for me. You’re super great and easy to listen to and speak to really relevant topics that we need to hear more of. I’ve had literally zero help from the several doctors I’ve seen. I look forward to joining you for many more conversations. With love and gratitude, Leah. 💟
