    After a few weeks hiatus, Seymour and Mongo recap the highs and lows of the Jets and Giants first two weeks of the season. Will Zach Wilson get the protection he needs to get a chance at being “the guy”? Can the Giants secondary step up? Many questions have formed over the past couple of weeks. With the 0-4 start for the only real New York teams, your two most entertaining hosts talk about what they’d like to see out of the Jets and Giants as well as what they fear out of the week 3 opponents. Overtime! Everybody loves some free podcast time! Seymour and Mongo give their listeners a bit of extra material as they talk about what has impressed or intrigued them most in this early NFL season, in addition to the return of the playmaking Josh Gordon.

    Getting down (and groovy) to 53

    Seymour and Mongo get back to work and wrap up the preseason episodes of the Pod with analysis of their favorite team’s exhibition seasons. The first cut is the deepest. As the close of the preseason and training camp comes and goes, so do some of the tryout opportunities for back end roster players in the NFL. Seymour and Mongo keep the Pod moving as they talk about the roster decisions that both the Jets and Giants have made over the past couple of days to get to the 53-man roster number. As 4-downs don’t seem to be enough to cover all of the information taking place in the league this week, it’s only right for the two inspirational co-hosts go into Overtime and discuss some of the most interesting moves from other teams across the league.

    Snoopy Bowl Golden Cup Showdown

    Seymour and Mongo jump back on the mics as NFL teams jump back on the field. The infamous podcast hosts talk about preseason Week 1 focusing on the Jets and Giants and how they squared off in the infamous MetLife Snoopy Bowl. Each host gives their two cents on what they saw and what concerns them from both of their teams playing this past week. Hey rookie, welcome to the NFL. Multiple rookie QBs made their NFL debut in the past week. Seymour and Mongo discuss the debuts of the most talked about and the not so talked about rookies from the most polarizing position in sports. Finally, Seymour and Mongo wrap up the show with a preview of the upcoming week of preseason games, and what they will be looking for from both the Jets and Giants moving forward.

    Training Camp Drama

    Just like the NFL training camps, Seymour and Mongo make their return. With the anticipation of every NFL team being back in the facilities and back to work, Seymour and Mongo talk about what they might see or anticipate happening in the Jets and Giants camps from a fan point of view. Training camp starts with hope for all 32 NFL teams, and ends with the regular season culminating. Mongo and Seymour will make their predictions and previews for their respectives teams' divisional seasons.  Leader of the Pack? Well, sort of. Your two most entertaining hosts talk about the curious case of Aaron Rodgers and what is happening in Green Bay. The situation in Green Bay wrapped with just as many challenges as the Jets’ negotiations with one of their rookies. Seymour and Mongo talk about what challenges continue to hold up rookie contract negotiations and finalization, and how important of an impact it may have on both the teams and the players. To wrap up the show Mongo and Seymour talk about the impact of the Carson Wentz injury on Wentz, the Indianapolis Colts, Philadelphia Eagles and other QBs around the league.

    Defense Wins Championships!

    After a couple weeks away, Seymour and Mongo discuss their franchises most impactful defensive players and what they would look like on the field together. After developing the Jets and Giants best of the best teams, the next question is, who are the right coaches to lead these teams to glory? Seymour and Mongo put their feet in the shoes of their respective team’s owners (Jets/Giants) and develop their own coaching staffs using their favorite coaches from the past. Finally, as the dog says of summer wind down, Mongo and Seymour talk about who they are most excited to see suit up for their favorite teams next week as training camps start!
