  1. “Why Aren’t My Prayers Being Answered?” Session 3 May 3, 2026

    MAY 4

“Why Aren’t My Prayers Being Answered?” Session 3 May 3, 2026

“Why Aren’t My Prayers Being Answered?” Session 3 May 3, 2026 Review: I Do Not Ask; My Motives are Inferior; I Refuse to Forgive; I Regard Iniquity; I Treat my Spouse (wife) Dishonorably; I Abandon the Harvest Prematurely; I Want Relief Above Development. ✸ God IS Answering My Legitimate Prayers …. I Just Don’t See It Yet! It’s OK to ASK! Jesus: Matthew 26:39-42 Paul: 2 Corinthians 12:8,9 Note the absence of an answer before an explanation of what was really happening was given by the Lord! We tend to seek relief over resolution, deliverance over development, consuming over investing! *Paul didn’t stop trusting during the silence. God designed Jesus’ suffering and obedience for His Eternal Glory and Our Blessing and Reward! Suffering for His sake is not wasted …. It’s redemptive and its affects are multiple. In our times of seemingly unanswered prayer, if we still Trust Him, God is working on something FAR greater than our temporary relief or comfort! (See James 1:2-4) Our inner person does not get stronger without resistance! This Thorn was a Season! Some things remain a mystery! Deuteronomy 29:29; seek revelation (Daniel 2:22) “I Have Learned” …. Philippians 4:11, 12, 13 “Thy Will Be Done” …. I surrender my inadequacies to Your Love, Grace, and Sovereign Lordship over my life! When we add “Thy Will Be Done” …. “God will give what we ask for OR what we would have asked if we knew what He Knew.” (Tim Keller)

“Why Aren’t My Prayers Being Answered?” Session 2 April 19, 2026

“Why Aren’t My Prayers Being Answered?” Session 2 April 19, 2026 My Failure to ASK! Unbelief; Fear; False View of Identity; Unresolved Guilt James 1:6, 7 Jesus Directive! ASK! (and keep on asking) Matthew 7:7 James 4:2; Philippians 4:6; Hebrews 4:15, 16 My Motives Are Misaligned: James 4:3 Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal where my prayers are “all about me”. “Search me, O God” …. Psalm 139:23 Relief vs. Resolution; Recognition vs. Service; Consumer vs. Investor; Star vs. Servant/Leader; Winner vs. Reconciler; etc. I Have Neglected or Refused to Forgive Mark 11:25, 26; Ephesians 4:32; Colossians 3:13 I must be willing to GRANT what I am asking for myself! (Not a feeling, but a decision.) I am “regarding iniquity” …. Psalm 66:18 Regarding: to continue to look, consult, hold onto. Refuse or neglect to deal with …. (i.e., habits, addictions, sexual sin, grudges, etc.) anything that compromises, competes with God’s ownership, Christ’s Lordship.) As a husband, (1 Peter 3:7) dishonoring of my wife. I forfeit my answers by “Pulling the Plug” on the sowing/reaping process! (Galatians 6:7-9) I have failed to submit to God’s Development Plan for His Glory and My Best! Embrace GRACE and its rewards Allow the Lord to redefine my desires and expectations, and timing. (2 Corinthians 12) Trust God’s Motives, Plan and Seasons (Even the devil, who has been legally defeated, can be used by God as an unwilling agent and participant in his own defeat!) “The Resurrection: God’s Gamechanger!” April 5, 2026 1 Peter 1:3-5; Romans 15:13; John 11:25, 26

“The Resurrection: God’s Gamechanger!” April 5, 2026 1 Peter 1:3-5; Romans 15:13; John 11:25, 26 The Resurrection: The Basis of Our HOPE! Hope: the energy in the Spirit to Reach! Our Hope may be redefined, but never ultimately defeated! Hope is the “Forerunner” of Faith, without which we cannot please God. (Hebrews 11:6) Ephesians 1:15-23: A God-Given Prayer For You on “Resurrection Day” The spirit of wisdom and revelation in knowing Him (intimately, personally) “Eyes of our heart”; “get it”; deep knowing! Hope of His calling: Out of and into! Riches re: to His Inheritance! (1 Corinthians 6:19-20) death life; darkness/light; disease/health; anger, bitterness/forgiveness; fear, shame/perfect Love; rejection/acceptance; pride/humility; lack/provision; despair/Hope; chaos/order! The exceeding (more than enough) power/authority to those who believe, in line and in partnership with, in connection to …. The Resurrection and Seating (positioning) of Christ! Above: greater than, superior to, FAR ABOVE …. Every spiritual enemy! …. NOW AND FOREVER! The Resurrection Connection is the Birthright of His Church, His Body! (Ephesians 1:22, 23) ✸ HOPE vs. DISAPPOINTMENT HOPE is ESSENTIAL to Spiritual Function (Hebrews 11:1) and is centered in the Spirit! DISAPPOINTMENT is CIRCUMSTANTIALLY motivated and centered in the emotions/mind. Its nature is temporary. Hope functions even with disappointment manifested.

The Blessing Of The Lord’s Correction! February 15, 2026 Session 1 AND Session 2

The Discipline of the Lord (Hebrews 12:5-11) For Believers, discipline is NOT PUNITIVE but redemptive (corrective, protective) Motive: God’s Love: Hebrews 12:6; 1 John 2:2 The discipline of the Lord (correction) can “feel like” punishment. (Hebrews 12:11) (Remember and Trust God’s motives. This will be tested! Hebrews 12:5b: rebuke: address inappropriate actions, words, attitudes. Blessings of God’s Correction: Hebrews 12:7-11 Love, honor, treasures His child Preserved life (Hebrews 12:9) Partakers of benefits of holiness (1 Timothy 4:8; 1 Timothy 6:6) Holiness: set apart to the Lord and separated from the evil one; the flesh, the world’s values, and ways of thinking, speaking, choosing The Holy Spirit is the Agent of conviction of our sin: (John 16:8,9) Our sin’s root is our unbelief: i.e: fear (2 Timothy 1:7; 1 John 4:16-18) Anxiety: (Philippians 4:4-7) The heart of God is that our discipline, correction is centered in our internal direction and correction! (The heart is “control center” of our lives!) [Proverbs 4:23, Matthew 15:18, 19] “Godly Sorrow”: true repentance (2 Corinthians 7:10, 11) [Recognize how our choices affect the offended and turn away!] If we won’t listen and take corrective action internally, God may allow/direct correction from the “outside”. Hindrance from the enemy: if we engage in viewing, thinking, acting in line with the devil’s territory, he will start operating in our space. (Spiritually illegal but given access by our cooperation or negligence) (Ephesians 4:27) This interference from the enemy can take various forms, i.e. physical, mental/emotional, relational, financial, etc. (1 Thessalonians 2:18; James 5:15) (Just because we are attacked by the enemy doesn’t necessarily mean we are “out of order” in our relationship, fellowship with the Lord!) ASK THE LORD WHERE THE ISSUE IS! The Relationship Between Correction/Discipline and the spiritual law of Sowing and Reaping (Galatians 6:7-9) God’s Grace to intervene (bring out) and to sustain (bring through) won’t allow us to sink or skip the process! Withdrawn intimacy, distance; turbulence in relationships, resources, etc. Corrective words and action from others (2 Timothy 4:2) Correction from authority: Spiritual Leadership Home: leadership team – position of loving leadership, protection, “line drawing” (Ephesians 5:6) Church: Shepherds (servant leaders, feeders, protectors, overseers) (2 Timothy 4:2, John 10 – His voice by His word) Workplace order: (Ephesians 6:5-8) Legal Authority: (Romans 13:1-5) REMEMBER: His correction is from a heart of Perfect Love, for our benefit! (Hebrews 12:6, 10) ✸FAITH is in my spirit. It doesn’t come from my mind. Faith in my spirit requires exercise to grow! (Mathew 17:20; Luke 17:5,6)
