    Kai Cheng Thom on What Consent Is Not

    Kai Cheng Thom is a writer, performance artist, and community healer in Toronto. She is the author of the novel Fierce Femmes and Notorious Liars: A Dangerous Trans Girl's Confabulous Memoir Metonymy Press), the essay collection I Hope We Choose Love: A Trans Girl's Notes at the End of the World(an American Library Association Stonewall Honor Book), the poetry collection a place called No Homeland (an American Library Association Stonewall Honor Book in 2018), and the children's picture books From the Stars in the Sky to the Fish in the Sea, illustrated by Kai Yun Ching and Wai-Yant Li, and For Laika, the Dog Who Learned the Names of the Stars, illustrated by Kai Yun Ching. Kai Cheng won the Writers' Trust of Canada's Dayne Ogilvie Prize for LGBTQ Emerging Writers in 2017.     jo + bahar on Kink, BDSM, and Creativity

    bahar (they/them) is an Iranian, queer, trans, non-binary Intimacy Coordinator + bike mechanic based in NYC. Their background in theater and acting often explored themes of gender and sexuality, paving the way to their role as a Sex Educator & Consultant. They are passionate about biking, karaoke, and tinned fish. bahar is on IG @baharloo.intimacy and jo Valdés is always doing the most, to say the least. They’re a queer, nonbinary, Afrolatinx writer, sexpert, intimacy coordinator, cultural worker, foodie, barista and sometimes DJ. They have an absolute obsession with kink, BDSM, leather, etcetera.     Rabbi Aaron Leven on having a calling and the symbolic exemplar

    Aaron Leven is the associate rabbi at Nefesh, an open-hearted spiritual community serving the east side neighborhoods of Los Angeles.
