#7 When You Can’t Silence Your Need for God

This episode of explores the profound impact of truly knowing God, emphasizing that such an encounter makes it impossible to silence one’s need for Him. It contrasts knowing about God with knowing Him personally, highlighting how genuine knowledge transforms the heart and leads to a deeper dependence on Him. Keanna is encouraging listeners to embrace their need for God, recognizing it as a source of strength and wisdom rather than weakness. The Gospel of John most clearly teaches the deity and preexistence of Christ. John provides proof, to reach unbelievers.   This gospel is different from Matthew, Mark, and Luke. It does not focus on the miracles, parables, and speeches. Instead, John emphasizes Jesus' identity as the son of God, and because of this…  As believers, we are called to respond.  Peter wasn’t just repeating doctrine when he said in John 6:68, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life.” He was speaking from experience. He had walked with Jesus, heard His voice, seen His power, and encountered something no one else could offer. True strength lies in dependence on God, not self-sufficiency. The world may praise independence, but the Kingdom of God honors surrender and acknowledges our need for Him. Embracing our dependence on God leads to power, peace, and fruitfulness, and enables us to stand firm in our faith despite challenges and opposition. 📧 Stay connected, join newsletter:  https://she-who-believed.kit.com/

#5 Resting in His Presence and Power

In this episode, we’re reminded of a powerful truth that can anchor us in any season: Jesus is both intimately near and completely sovereign. He is not distant from your struggles or detached from your pain—He steps into it, sits with you in it, and walks you through it. At the same time, He is fully in control, reigning with authority over every circumstance, every delay, and every unknown you’re facing. If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed by life’s demands, weary from carrying too much for too long, or uncertain about what lies ahead, this devotional offers a space to pause and breathe. It gently invites you to release the pressure of having it all figured out and instead rest in the steady, unchanging nature of who Jesus is. Anchor Scripture: Matthew 28:18–20 •“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me…” (His power) •“And surely I am with you always…” (His presence) You’ll be encouraged to lean into His presence—not just as a distant hope, but as a present help. To trust that the same Savior who understands your deepest emotions is also strong enough to sustain you, guide you, and carry what you cannot. This episode is a reminder that you are not alone, not forgotten, and not beyond His reach. Come as you are—tired, searching, hopeful, or hurting—and rediscover the peace that comes from knowing He is both close enough to comfort you and powerful enough to hold your entire story. 📧 Stay connected, join newsletter:  https://she-who-believed.kit.com/
