As couples have children later and their own parents live longer, women, in particular, don’t have time or money to spare. And for parents who were caring for both their children and their parents during the pandemic, coronavirus came with even more obstacles. Today's guest had to dip into her emergency savings when she found herself working from home with three unexpected officemates: her two children and her father. Introducing In Vogue: The 2000s

    Introducing In Vogue: The 2000s

In season 2 of In Vogue: The 2000s, we explore how fashion fused with every aspect of pop culture to become a global entertainment engine ubiquitous in culture--impinging on the global consciousness like never before. From Nicholas Ghesquière awakening the sleeping fashion house of Balenciaga, to Vogue putting the couture into Juicy Couture, and discussing Carrie Bradshaw’s influence on trendy 2000s fashion with Sarah Jessica Parker, we cover the iconic looks that defined the decade. Hear how 9/11 led to the creation of the CFDA Vogue Fashion Fund and ushered in the next generation of designers. We examine the colliding worlds of Vogue and Hollywood, and learn how the Met Gala became the Superbowl of fashion. We go behind the scenes of the most iconic fashion shoot of all time, where Annie Leibovitz and Grace Coddington transformed the designers of the decade into the characters of Alice in Wonderland, and sit down with the Brazilian Bombshell herself, Gisele Bündchen, who revolutionized modeling and the fashion industry, while on a meteoric rise to international celebrity status.

    The New American Dream

    The New American Dream

If managing money is a challenge for the average person, it’s exponentially harder for an immigrant—and harder still for an undocumented immigrant who won’t have basic financial tools, like a bank account and access to credit. Today’s guest shares the unique financial challenges that left her with $43,000 of debt, and our host (also an immigrant) and expert offer tips to help her work through them.
    Expert: Stefanie O'Connell

Great podcast!

I love the point of view and information. Definitely good take aways from every single episode!

Also, for those reviewers complaining about season 2...The Science of Beauty is a completely different podcast! It is just being shared to subscribers of other podcasts (this happens all the time to broaden audiences). Science of Beauty is fantastic too, just a different topic.
