The project, a collab with Jesse Dayton, sees Samantha at her gritty best. Fun, sassy, and sonically grabbing in every way, it’s a genre-bending joy-ride, and a follow up to her collection of previous albums and one recent EP, ‘The Stardust Sessions’, that she also recorded with Jesse. You may know Lindy Day as the former lead guitarist for The Killer Queens, the world’s only all-girl Queen cover band. Day writes songs for her own solo projects and has shared the stage with Santana, ZZ Top, Steve Miller and more. She’s started to dig into producing and now focuses much of her time on short guitar instructional content, especially on Tik Tok and Instagram. This NYC-based singer, songwriter and all around survivor has faced many challenges. She embraces a variety of religions as “JewBu'' (a Jewish Buddhist), and is a cancer survivor and a woman who today channels her struggles within her gritty, Motown-steeped music. Now a mother of a four-year old daughter, we caught up with Danielia as she was getting ready to run the NYC marathon and supporting her spouse as he battles Mantle cell lymphoma, an aggressive and currently incurable form of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.
