Robert Walker started with sheep in 2010 and the desire to learn and grow in the sheep industry has brought up questions I am sure everyone has had. This podcast is an opportunity to share conversations with those mentors, breeders, owners, veterinarians, vendors, judges, and people that have provided the support to the sheep industry over the years.     Going Solo? Update on the SheepThings Podcast!

    Wow, after an almost 2 yr break in the podcast action, it is time to crank back up! This is a basic update on what has been going on over those 2 yrs and what my plans are going forward.     S2E10 - Laura Fortmeyer Part 2 - Katahdin Breed Association Evolution

    The one you all have been waiting for!  Laura Fortmeyer from central Kansas maybe one of the few people alive that has been involved with the Katahdin breed before the breed association was established.  She is going to tell her story from those times while working with Heifer International through the formation of the Katahdin Hair Sheep International and the years that followed.  We are so thankful for the opportunity to document her story.  Don't pay any attention to the sound issues, we didn't realize we had the mic setup wrong until after we had recorded and left so we edited it the best we can.  Thank you for listening and I hope you enjoy!
