“师傅”是一个在中国非常好用的称呼

"Shīfu" shì yīgè zài Zhōngguó fēicháng hǎoyòng de chēnghu

"shifu" is a very useful term of address in China

我们打车的时候，这个司机就是司机师傅

Wǒmen dǎchē de shíhou, zhège sījī jiù shì sījī shīfu

When we take a taxi, the driver is called "司机师傅"

我们可以说：师傅，请在前面红绿灯停车

Wǒmen kěyǐ shuō: Shīfu, qǐng zài qiánmiàn hónglǜdēng tíngchē

We can say:shifu, please stop at the traffic light ahead

我们出入一个住宅小区的时候

Wǒmen chūrù yīgè zhùzhái xiǎoqū de shíhou

When we enter or exit a residential community

门口的保安就是保安师傅

Ménkǒu de bǎo'ān jiù shì bǎo'ān shīfu

The security guard at the entrance is called "保安师傅"

我们可以说：师傅，麻烦帮我开一下门

当我们的水管漏水需要人维修的时候

Dāng wǒmen de shuǐguǎn lòushuǐ xūyào rén wéixiū de shíhou

When our water pipe leaks and needs someone to repair it

来修水管的人就是维修师傅

Lái xiū shuǐguǎn de rén jiù shì wéixiū shīfu

The person who comes to repair the water pipe is called "维修师傅"

给我们家墙面刷漆的人就是刷漆师傅

The person who paints the walls of our house is called "刷漆师傅"

帮我们搬大件运送到新房子的人就是搬家师傅

Bāng wǒmen bān dàjiàn yùnsòng dào xīn fángzi de rén jiù shì bānjiā shīfu

The person who helps us move large items to the new house is called "搬家师傅"

我说：师傅，这个电视机要加一层保护

Wǒ shuō: Shīfu, zhège diànshìjī yào jiā yī céng bǎohù

I said: shifu, this TV needs an extra layer of protection
