Veteran waitresses clap back in a new weekly comedy podcast where nothing's off the table other than the 15% tip we just stuffed into our apron. Hosted by Brooke Van Poppelen & Andrea Wallace, the two use their combined 30+ years of servitude, extensive careers in comedy (while waiting tables), and disdain for entitled Yelp culture to dish about the career that everyone should experience to be a decent human being. Side Work Podcast combines current events, trends in the service industry & food, and hilarious server stories submitted from listeners. Best podcast to improve the world.

The paradigm shift that can happen just from listening to these wonderful and smart women. The restaurant industry can improve the world one episode at a time. Godspeed and good tips. Good health as well. Fight for what is deserved and never give up!

Great stories from the service industry.

I gave Side Work a listen when I heard they were doing a retail episode during the holidays, and I was immediately hooked. I've not worked as a server, but have been doing retail(and fast food) for long enough to know the similarities and the exact kind of customers talked about good and bad. It's not full of inside jokes that are hard to get so jumping on at any episode is quite easy. Of course the early episodes are great too!
