    Episode #11 - The 25th Anniversary of Spirited Away

    Welcome back to Sightgeist! In this episode, Jimmy is joined by Ashley to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the landmark anime film Spirited Away. We discuss the film in both it's own aesthetic qualities, but also in how it shaped western interests in anime ever since. Also, we're very proud to announce that Sightgeist now has a Discord!     Episode #09 - Moonlight x La La Land

    CW: Moonlight is a film that explores issues of queer identity and Black masculinity. As a result, the film uses homophobic slurs. We try our best to handle a discussion of the film with care.
